gotoAndLego Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 (edited) Here the latest thing I'm working on. I can't decide if I want to keep it a walker or make it a tank. The legs don't match the rest of it so they're temporary. Edited January 27, 2010 by gotoAndLego Quote
Big Cam Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Is this going to utilize the power functions stuff? Quote
gotoAndLego Posted January 27, 2010 Author Posted January 27, 2010 (edited) Is this going to utilize the power functions stuff? The only PF thing I have is the light up brick from 6751. The spacing is really tight it so I hadn't planned on. Edited January 27, 2010 by gotoAndLego Quote
Palms Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 I like the look of the walker, though I think it looks a little too smooth for a star wars MOC . Also the cannons are kind of weird even for a SW MOC . Quote
NewRight Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 I like this. The colors are nice, but I can't say I like the legs as you mentioned and I just don't get a Star Wars feel from this. Definitely Space, but maybe not Star Wars. Is there a back story to this? Quote
CELESTRIAL Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 This is a really nice looking Mech !! but as others have said, i dont think it fits into a SW catagory, but most defentally some sort of space theme ! I quite like the things at the front, they would look good as some sort of engine coming of the legs ! i think with a bit more work on the legs this could work well. Quote

I completely missed the scifi section or I would have posted there. What if we call this a Stanley Kubrick AT-AT. Quote

I'll move it there for you. Nice and boxy - somehow it strikes me a clinical science fiction. Something like Gattaca or iRobot. Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 I think the legs look perfect for this MOC ! Very sci-fi ! Very good ! I'm a conformist! 'gotoAndLego' ! Quote

gotoAndLego Posted January 29, 2010 Author Posted January 29, 2010 I made more changes to the model as a whole including legs I'm pretty happy with, revised arms/cannons, new hips/codpiece, new back mechanism, and a red racing stripe. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Wow those are fantastic! I like the stripes and the SNOT work really works! It looks pretty unique. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
samurai-turtle Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 The second version is definitely an improvement to the first one. The second looks like a complete "mecha" where the first one looks like body/legs was in repair or something. Quote
