With a warm hearty atmosphere the Good ol' Pub is where many come to drink their troubles away. Run by Henry McFinnigan this pub brings a little piece of Ireland to MACK Central. Complete with stain glass windows dart board and a flat screen TV the pub has everything one needs for a good time.

Legend has it that Henry has used that old rifle to "deal" with anyone who makes a show of his err... short comings.

Did I mention that all enlisted men in the MACK Union army get a special discount on drinks after a successful battle?

There's to be no shenanigans in me pub!

Nice pub! I like the "exotic feeling" this pub gives.

I certainly wouldn´t want to forget my wallet at home when going to this pub...

Very nice.....I like it !

The rifle on the wall should say, cause trouble then say bye-bye !

It's simple, yet packed with detail !

Great work 'Mack' and I'm a conformist! ! :sweet:

Nice design, I especially like the interior deco  and of course that McFinnigan halfling

nice design

Thanks, but nobody (alive) but ol' Henry actually knows if the rifle works or not.

Thanks I figured I had to use some of the dwarf legs I had lying around for something in my city, I figured why not a midget bar keeper?

nice design

Thanks! :classic:

I'm thinking that the Good Ol' Pub is not a venue for a girls' night out...really, can you imagine Henry making exotic cocktails? "What was that you wanted, a slippery nipple??" Great MOC MacK!

I'm surprised you were able to fit so much detail in such a small space. I think the exterior could use a little more detail but the interior is great! Excellent work!

Yeah unless they're the type that can chug down gallons of beer :pir-grin: .

I agree that the exterior could probably use a few more details but I couldn't really figure out what to put there that didn't look terrible. Any ideas? :classic:

Thanks for all of the comments!

Nice. it looks like a pub near my house, not too big. I like how you made the tables :classic:

I'd like to see a bit more texture on your exterior. Perhaps a bit more detail around your window like that of Green Grocer . Maybe try making your first layer of bricks a different color than the rest of your wall, like the Creator Family Home. You can also tile the exterior's floor with a pattern. Adding some detailing to the top of your roof can improve aesthetics as well.

Alright then that sounds like pretty good advice. I'll try changing the colour of the first layer of bricks, and I might work out some more details as well. I have no idea when I'll mod it though, as I'm working on another largish project at the moment, but I'll keep your advice in mind when I build my next town building for my city :classic: .

After reading this I have the CHEERS song stuck in my head, very nice Moc, good way to add some flavor to your Moc by making the bartender well err... you know what I mean.

excellent
