Sarg_Kulo Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Several members are missing from it. Vader and Xwingyoda from memory but I'm sure there is more.
Jipay Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 I think that's cause they tick the "dont appear as online" or something like that. I'll check in deeper asap
snefroe Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 i talked about this with tt a few weeks back. he suggested it may have to do with the clock and the different time zones...
Vader Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 We dont appear because we operate from the shadows.........
jonfett Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 No me either :( Maybe I got deleted for being away for so long? Jon.
snefroe Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Nothing to do with that sorry... sorry jipay, i was refering to the today's top 10 posters... there's something weird going there as well... somethimes a member has for instance 24 posts, and an hour later only 19 or so... weird, but not priority...
jonfett Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 sorry jipay, i was refering to the today's top 10 posters... there's something weird going there as well... somethimes a member has for instance 24 posts, and an hour later only 19 or so... weird, but not priority... I think I can explain that. I believe that it is the number of posts a user has made in the last 24 hours (therefore the last day time wise, but not calander day). So if I made a post at 7:01am on Tuesday and another at 8:01am on Tuesday, on Wednesday at 7:02am I would have 1 post in the list. Hope you understand what I'm saying. Jon.

Jon. that was what tt also suggested, but i don't think it's that, because this member was american, think it was D1, but there was no change for a Canadian member... i think they both should have been changed if it were a question of timezones...
Hobbes Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 I see this "feature" as a nice gimmick, nothing more. Today I'm on this list with 9 posts (prior to this post) but I definitely just posted 5 times after midnight (cos I sleep at that time ). Within the last 24 hours those 9 posts seem right, though. But I don't check that list that often... Talking about hours: the forum time's still an hour off: with the correct time zone setting I'm an hour ahead, regardless of automatic or manual DST setting (manual puts me ahead 2 hours). Maybe that does influence the outcome of that list...
