I found this note in Jack Baxter bag; Phantom place. Ruins: clearly here. Shadow people: your dad and others, I guess. If we can save them, that seems like a good place to start. Skeleton wolves: *hold up the tooth he found before all that screaming* Seems one of them might need some dental work now. Now we know why he was here, if only we knew what he was doing to get himself killed like that. He must have figured something out and now we need to. Also, and I know it sounds off, but both me and Diane think the Grand Chamber has... er shrunk. Let's try to examine the area that seems to have changed. What seems smaller, specifically? When I first went into the chamber, it felt bigger, which perhaps could be explained by the lack of other people around, but I don't think that was it. I measured the floor's width, but it was the same as before. Right before leaving Siegourney said it felt smaller to her, which makes this even more confusing.

I sure hope that's the drop of blood from the end of the last chapter before all of this, the one that fell from the ... HEY! Was Jack already stuffed up there by then? That would change everything! But how??? We were all in here, weren't we? I'm beginning to lose track. Maybe someone with a good connection photographic memory could recall that and let us know where Jack was at the end of the last chapter back then.

iamded Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 While that knife is not missing, remember that a knife went missing before we even got off the bus, when the weapons locker popped open. That weapon was never recovered, so someone here has a concealed weapon or something of that nature. Ooooh yeah. Hmm. I had forgotten about that, now there's another thing to worry about.. Well, if we can't leave via the bus, and we aren't going to return all the knives, then I agree in heading back into the temple.

I don't trust Sheldon and Sandy anymore than I do the others, and knives are less deadly then a gun. I think the knives ought to be returned before we go anywhere. I for one am staying right here until I'm promised some sorta protection. Also, on the subject of skeleton wolves, what about that statue we found in the gaurd house? Could that be one? Didn't we find a black looking jewel inside it's mouth. Could that be the start to saving the souls?

I mean, apart from all the mystery and bone statues and traps and puzzles and mysteries and ghosts and shadows and scorpions and blood and crowns and guns and knives and upskirts, I did pay a lot of good money to come here to witness this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. So can we just take 15 minutes to chillax and stare up in wonder at the sky? Thanks!

On the subject of the knives, I think that they should be returned to their original owners, but then again, it's not my decision.

I've got a bad bad feeling about this, everyone be alert. And have those torches in the Guard House moved since we were last in there? My god I'm freaked out right now.

fallentomato Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 Everyone stay calm! Just because one of the tour members is dead and the demon statues have come to life, it's no reason to worry. Maybe this is like Scooby Doo and all a trick with mirrors and stuff. Let's all stick together and figure out this damn torch puzzle before we explore the four rooms we haven't visited yet. *Takes one of the lit torches from the grand chamber. Runs back into the guard house and lights those torches. (briefly wonders why there aren't little flames on the lit torches) Pushes the torch that's down up. Runs back to the grand chamber and then returns the torch used to light the others back to it's original spot, so that all 7 torches are lit and in the upright position. Prays that this do something*
