This topic again? :sceptic: I thought we left this negativity magnet behind.

What are you? The enemy of fun?

All the Twilight Saga movies - Twilight, New Moon, and the upcoming Eclipse - terrible acting, boring story line, and yucky love story. I think I'm gonna puke default_sick.gif

Agreed to a ridiculous extent, and don't get me started on the travesty that is Breaking Dawn. I cannot stand entire pages devoted to describing the skin of Stephanie Myer's fanfic insert dream boyfriend, nor an utterly vacant and repulsive character like Bella who exists merely for the purpose of being a nearly empty reader insert dream for screaming fangirls.

I could go on, but instead I'll merely segue into the atrocious Battlefiled Earth film, based on the atrociously offensive work of Scientology creator L. Ron Hubbard.

I could go onto that, but instead I'll segue again onto Stealth. Which was just rubbish. And Pearl Harbour too, which was historically inaccurate and rubbish.

Batbrick Away!

Stealth! I saw that in the cinema, and I go to the cinema like once a year. It sounded like such a braindead Homer Simpson movie, I couldn't not go. I wasn't disappointed.

I finally watched the whole of Thunderball yesterday. I'm a big James Bond fan but that movie is such an absolute yawnfest that I never made it the whole way through before. I can't understand why it's generally regarded as one of the better Bonds. Well, I'll admit it's not as bad as Die Another Day.

Transformers 2, Neverending Story 3, Police Academy 7, Shrek sequels, any Disney sequels (except The Rescuers Down Under), Happy Feet, Starship Troopers 2, Fantastic Mr Fox, Batman Forever, Batman & Robin, The Magical Mystery Tour, um that's all I can think of at the moment. Actually most of those "family" CGI movies of late. (Some are good though.) All of those movies I will never watch again and wish I'd never seen. Transformers 2 is the only movie I've ever watched where I've wanted to stop watching in disbelief, but I kept watching out of curiosity for how bad it was going to get.

1-Batman and Robin(nipples for the guys but not for the girl, WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?)

2-Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace(AKA:How to make your series go to the crapper... Jar Jar Binks... REALLY?!?!?!?!?)

3-Spider-man 3(do I even have to explain this one?)

I hope ya'll apreciate it.

Cheers.

I actually have never minded the first one- in fact, I loved Jar Jar. Maybe I'm the only one default_tong.gif .

I was not able to see the Jar Jar debacle in this country , people seem completely unaware of how hated the guy is. I honestly have never really minded him.

I'll take this chance to once again rant about the awful Super Mario Bros movie. I really think it is the only movie I'd want to unsee.

That was a terrible movie...

I'm sure it was. I haven't seen it and refuse to do so.

All the Twilight Saga movies - Twilight, New Moon, and the upcoming Eclipse - terrible acting, boring story line, and yucky love story. I think I'm gonna puke default_sick.gif

Yeah, I've seen the first one and totally agree.

What are you? The enemy of fun?

If ranting is the definition of fun, then yes, I!m its arch nemesis! Muahaha!

Seriously though, it's strange how different tastes can be. I for one really enjoyed Stealth, Pearl Harbor, Dıe Another Day, and all those Bay movies. :look: But then again, I study visual effects, so it's no wonder those movies appeal to me.

Neverending Story 3, any Disney sequels (except The Rescuers Down Under), Starship Troopers 2, Batman Forever, Batman & Robin

Yeah, I agree wıth all of the above. I actually hated all the Neverending Story movıes. I'm sure they'll make a decent remake soon though. And Rescuers 2 is definitely an exception from the horridness of Disney sequels! In fact, it's one of the few cases where the sequel is better than the original.

3-Spider-man 3(do I even have to explain this one?)

Nope.

I actually have never minded the first one- in fact, I loved Jar Jar. Maybe I'm the only one default_tong.gif .

Well, I wouldn't say I love him, but I don't mind him, and I loved the movie.

Yeah I agree That's probably my second favorite starwars movie in the saga but I'm kinda neutral with Jar Jar. I Bridge to terebithia and it was terrible. A stupid storyline and the decisions that the characters made didn't even make sense. :sceptic: I was also forced to watch Shrek 3 and the funny thing is the name shrek is based off the german word "schrecklich" which means "horrible" so really the name fits the movie quite well.

Yeah- the second was okay, but the third was lame.

The last air bender, worst movie in history, the CGI was so poor you could tell it was CGI, the story was boring, the acting, well the fact the girl at the end shook her head no then said yes sums it up, the hero being a coward, and no doubt a dozen other things I have forgotten due to it being so bad.

I wish my best mate would have told me it was one trick pony, always some stupid lame twist M. Night Shyamalan movie.

I am here to rescue some Disney sequels! The Little mermaid 2 and 3, The Lion King 3, Cindrella 3 are great. I enjoyed the other side of stories and I really hope they will make something like this with Princess and frog! Bernard and Bianca 2 was really enjoyable too!

Naw, actually it was pretty good IMO. I didn't want to watch it at first, but once I found out that it was not as much a Disney "princess" movie as it was a parody of Disney princess movies, I gave in and enjoyed myself. It's not grade A material, but it's not bad either. I sure wouldn't list it in a topic about "movies you can't unsee" anyway. :sceptic:

Anyway, I'll nominate Madagascar to this list. Awful main cast that didn't have scarcely a hint of character, almost no plot, "humor" that almost entirely relied on either pop-culture references or potty jokes, and a remix of Crazy Frog that is lame but strangely addictive. Easily the worst Dreamworks movie I have ever seen, and utterly illustrates everything I dislike about the company. Fortunately, they seem to be getting better recently - How to Train Your Dragon and Megamind were both great. :classic:

I get the feeling that most people that have posted here don't know what truly awful movies look like.

Go watch Plan 9 From Outer Space. Then we'll talk.

Just about every Pauli Shore movie is unwatchable (Encino Man was decent, and Son in Law was OK). You know its bad when you watch a comedy and never even smile once (I'm looking at you In the Army Now; I want that hour and a half of my life back). Even more so for Rob Schneider.

To be fair, I have never seen Battlefield: Earth. Nor do I ever want to.

Most of the Disney sequels are pretty bad by my standards, but they are aimed at kids, and so I give them a little leniancy. My own kids love them, so I suppose I have to tolerate them.

'Funny people' is really really bad! It doesn't have anyone funny in it! It's about some people who's relationship breaks up, and someone who gets an illness, and the movie drags on for 2.5 hours or so... avoid!!!

Sigh. This thread is like boomerang; just when you thought you got rid of it, it comes back around to hit you in the face again. :sceptic:

Ironically, it was revived by an Aussie. (no offense)

Admitedly, they were alright, but forgettable, which is not supposed to be the characteristic of a Disney movie. :sadnew: Bernard and Bianca 2 (aka. Rescuers Down Under) is a great exception though as it is one of my favorite Disney movies, as are all the Aladdin sequels, especially King of Thieves which I just love! Genie is absolutely hilarious, and the story is great!

The Star Wars Holiday Special

I agree, there are some movies being mentioned in here that are bad, but not so bad that you'd need to unwatch them.

However, regarding Plan 9 and the SWHS, I'd say they don't belong in this thread either. There's bad, and then there's hilariously bad, and I think these two movies fit the latter quite nicely, making them enjoyable in an unintentional way.

Up.

It's not that it's bad, but I saw it after it came out on DVD, so I've been hearing people saying it is the best Pixar movie, but when I saw it, it isn't as good as I thought it would be. I only liked the beginning. IMO, it went by too fast. I was expecting more twists from the great movie studio Pixar is, but it was just one encounter with the main antagonist, a short skirmish, and the movie's done... :sceptic:

Yeah, Pixar Disney ect. have all downgraded from their good ol' days.

See, this is what Walter is talking about. Perhaps it didn't live up to your expectations, but do you really want to unsee it? :sceptic: I think not.

Ok, I'd like to unsee Ultraviolet, or at least get my time back. I really like B or C grade sci-fi/futuristic movies, and I watch a lot of them, but Ultraviolet's poor quality was truly depressing. I fell asleep, and I neither cared to back it up nor finish it after I'd awoken. It does not happen often that I wish to not see the rest of a movie that I'm watching; I sat all the way through Battlefield Earth and was intrigued to see it through to the end. Sometimes, bad can be good. With Ultraviolet, bad was just awful.

I do. I would rather watch another Pixar movie if I had a time machine.

Typical American hate it when someone see things differently, no offence.

I rebooted this thread because I am smart, I knew if I said that in the forum with all them hentai loving fanboys it would have started them off, and gotten me in trouble.

Oh and lets add knight and day, I admit it was Diaz on top gear talking cars that made me see it, should have known with nut job shorty pants aliens man Cruise it would be rubbish, and it was, corny and not the good kind like machete.

Every movie ever to be made with M night Shamalan.

Right, because constantly doing stuff that provokes people is very smart.

And I don't "hate it when someone see things differently"; in fact, I agree with you. Shyamalan movies are terrible, and Knight and Day was pretty bad too. It was basically a middle finger to all guys who went to see that movie, because it had a cliche romantic comedy plot and most of the action sequences were shown from the POV of the character that was drugged to near-unconsciousness at the time. :hmpf_bad:

Some of the scenes were kinda funny though.
