I havn't seen a moc of one of these engines yet. This is definately one of my favourite european locomotives. Its not powered yet but that is my next project to add power functions. Please let us know your thoughts.

Ahh, finally a 8 wide MOC!!!

Great, I like your detailed engine.

Do you have any batteries and light in the loco?

In reality where are this locos used?

No batteries or light yet. Will add them soon. These engines are from a private rail company servicing the Rur region of Germany. They make trips into the Netherlands too.

Love it! Your MOC really captures the lines of the prototype very well. I don't know much about German railways, but it's a nice model.

Beautiful yet equally menacing! Fantastic engine Michaelozzie. Not too many builders create 8-stud wide trains and you've certainly done so with style, adding a great amount of additional detail. Your decals are splendid as well as the color scheme. I love that dark green! I think train creations like this definitely separate the expert builders and those of the basic variety (like me). One day - I could only hope.

It's a good thing this is an ocean away from my Santa Fe Western, because I'd be afraid that it would crunch my little red caboose.

Top notch and front-paged!

Oh my Gosh, I seriously thought that last picture was your LEGO verison Photoshopped into a real scene.

You copied that design flawlessly, that is very impressive. Great work!!

I really like it how its 8 wide, and how much detaile there is on it.

The custom Decals of yours are Great! A+ for them mate. :sweet:

What a great loc!!! I absolutely love this - the photo with it at the station is just marvellous... I headed straight on to Classic-Town to blog this, but I found out Shadows had already pipped me to that  ... deservedly so (it's been a slow day for me :P)

The original engine itself is also a joy to behold - and that's why your model turned out so great! Thanks for introducing this great locomotive to us :]

It looks amazing, excellent work.

The custom decals/stickers are superb.

*edit* just noticed this is an old post, still great work though.
