Posted February 5, 201015 yr Hi everyone! I just want to show you my Y-wing mocs: new cockpit (much improved, including visor, sidepanels, control stick and even a seat) front section wider new ion cannon turret new flick missiles with launcher 3 landing gears rubber band to block the bomb bay open rebel logos the back hi!
February 5, 201015 yr Welcome to Eurobricks, andreajam A really nice mod of the Y-Wing, the cockpit looks indeed much better then the original. Great work. Why don't you introduce yourself Here the Inventor
February 5, 201015 yr Hello, and welcome to these fine forums! The modifications look pretty nice and are some real improvement over the original model I can't see the landing gear details clearly, however. This might be due to the fact that they're black on you're using a black background. I'd try a white or light grey background. Cheers, ~ Christopher
February 5, 201015 yr Welcome to Eurobricks. Your MOD is very good. I like the cockpit and the underside. I look forward to seeing some more from you
February 5, 201015 yr Welcome to EB! I am really fond of this set because it is my first star wars set I bought. The mods are nice but the cockpit looks a bit too big in proportion to the rest of the ship. The inside of the cockpit looks pretty nice. Great work!
February 5, 201015 yr Nice mock, I like how the changes are fairly subtle. The cockpit is a good improvement.
February 5, 201015 yr Nice tweaks you've done. You tempt me to pull my set out of storage! Welcome to Eurobricks
February 5, 201015 yr I was planning on doing something like this with my older y-wing but i guess you beat me too it. Oh well, I'll still give it a try, nice job by the way.
February 6, 201015 yr Bahhh this makes me want the new redesigned Y-wing even more excellent mods you have done there, the cockpit looks a lot more cosy inside now. Great details and mods Oh also, Welcome to Eurobricks !
February 6, 201015 yr Author thank you all! The best part of lego construction for me is the improvement! I always watch site like this to gain some inspiration for example, the new tie defender looks awesome but has absolutely no interior (BAD!!!!!!), so I worked a lot on it and the results are really nice. I'll post it soon Next I will show you my lego hangar and my ties The only problem I have is lack of pieces: I order them in Italy and often they are too few! Hello, and welcome to these fine forums! The modifications look pretty nice and are some real improvement over the original model I can't see the landing gear details clearly, however. This might be due to the fact that they're black on you're using a black background. I'd try a white or light grey background. Cheers, ~ Christopher Ehm...yes! I will try to shot better pictures... and...the landing gears are simply black hinges because they are easy to put in a "retracted mode". For this model I think it's the best way, Y-wing has gears under the engines so is a bit tricky to place them!
February 6, 201015 yr A really nice version of the Y-wing andreajam. Its alot more detailed then the lego ones. I like the cockpit, and the engines especially. Great job and welcome to EB! CommanderFox
