Posted February 6, 201015 yr I was out today and I found a family of wild Bulldozers in their natural element... and look; they have a little one! Normally they are quite shy of humans so I took the chance to get some photos. Pulitzer prize for me? Male Bulldozers are quite large. Note the ripper at the back; only mature males have these. Here you can see them playing together. What a wonderful family! But it isn't all play being a Bulldozer; there's always work to do! Here's the female working hard... ...and here's the male. It looks to me he's not pulling his weight! Look; the baby is working hard too! Now where have the parents gone? Oh! This could be a good time to leave them alone! Note: I built 8259 Mini Bulldozer from spare parts so a few parts and colours are not the same as the actual set.
February 6, 201015 yr Hilarious! Especially the shot where they are playing together! I want more nature documentaries like this! Kudos to you, sir! Bravo, bravo!! Okay, I'll calm down now, although I do feel odd looking at that last photo...
February 6, 201015 yr I remember suggesting this very scene to you when I did my 7685 review last year Good to see it finally happened 12 months later - clearly the gestation cycle of bulldozers is different to humans. *backs away from the Walrus Keeper*
February 6, 201015 yr Aw, what a great story and lovely family, especially the baby! I found the whole thing very touching, especially the touching part. Nice job!
February 6, 201015 yr This sure cheered up my night shift haha! I should do that with my tow trucks Thanks Siegfried!
February 6, 201015 yr Oh! This could be a good time to leave them alone! Looks like there'll be another little bulldozer on the way soon...
February 6, 201015 yr Hello! A lovely setup! The little one is so cute! But big daddy has to work more on rocks and stones instead of playing with mom. But another little bulldozer would also be sweet. Cheers, ~ Christopher
February 6, 201015 yr Haha! That´s hilarious! This made my day, thanks! Just one question, what were you thinking when you did this?
February 6, 201015 yr Author Okay, I'll calm down now, although I do feel odd looking at that last photo... I've got more photos you haven't seen... Good to see it finally happened 12 months later - clearly the gestation cycle of bulldozers is different to humans. Yeah, I've wanted to do it for a while but I didn't have 7685... or the parts to make it. I got it last month, but at that stage I had recently moved and 8275 (the big Technic one) was in pieces. I fixed that 2 weeks ago, and made 8259 from parts today. This sure cheered up my night shift haha! I should do that with my tow trucks Thanks Siegfried! Glad to hear it... and I'd love to see it! Just one question, what were you thinking when you did this? Sorry to say, nothing kinky or anything. I just wanted to take and share some photos of the recent Bulldozer sets which were obviously designed to look similar and that was the angle I chose.
February 6, 201015 yr Nice family portrait of the dozers. Baby dozer is so cute. I don't think that last photo was safe to view while at work.
February 6, 201015 yr This is funny! Nice pics, and it's cool to see how different Lego Dozers stack up to eachother
February 7, 201015 yr Sorry to say, nothing kinky or anything. I just wanted to take and share some photos of the recent Bulldozer sets which were obviously designed to look similar and that was the angle I chose. Oh, really? Oh! This could be a good time to leave them alone! No, not at all.. However that´s not what I meant, I meant more like, how did you think? IMO it´s a great idea, and it´s several times funnier than just taking pics with them besides eachother. Edited February 7, 201015 yr by Dennimator
April 13, 201014 yr Thanx for this, Siegfried. It put a big smile on my face. Lego Technic can definately be funny too !!
