Hi all,

When i was 18, i began to drive with a Renault 4. A very hard car and one of the iconic cars together with the Citroen 2CV and the VW Beetle. I've decided to reproduce my old R4 at minifig scale. Hope you like it.

You managed to capture the shape pretty accurately. I think you could avoid the gap in the rear by building the whole rear section on a 3 x 4 surface and mounting the whole thing (SNOT) on the back. Furthermore, the side of the car is pretty well proportioned, but I feel it's too narrow for it's length/too long for its width. And whereas the width is approximate minifig scale, the length isn't (although it's hard to define minifig scale, so it might be a matter of preference, but it's definitely too big to fit into the current City line). For minifig scale, I think the wheels are too large and personally I don't think those wheel arches really fit with such a small car.

Nice, but please don't post images larger than 800x600 per our site guidelines. Thanks.

That's a nice looking car! I agree with rick that its too narrow for its length. Perhaps making it 5 wide could work. Still, your MOC's overall shape looks very much like the real thing. Well done!

Nice little Renault you have there 'lluisquib' !

Might I recommend either using different wheel/axle combination or make it 5 wide.

In any case a very good job and I'm a conformist! ! :classic:
