Hello.

I recently bought two lego boats for my kids.

They were assembled when i bought them.

There were no building instructions or set numbers included.

I would like to know if any of you experts can help me with identifying these two boats.

Have tried google, peeron and so on but no luck :(

The boats have removable cabins where you can put legomen, and also a detailed engine at the bottom of the boat.

Regards from sweden

Wow these are huge! They don't look like official sets to me, rather exhibits from a theme park or a LEGO event? Then again, if they're not glued together, possibly a fan MOC. The seller didn't have a clue?

Yes, they are quiet large.

I don't know anything about the seller since i bought them at a local auction.

They are not glued together so the stores of the cabin can be disassembled and there are people inside running the boat and managing the engine.

They are MOCs.

May I ask what you paid? There would be at least 5,000 pieces here, if not 20,000! :oh: What are the ship names?

I don't know the ship's names. There were a label on one of them though, saying MS/Kristin. Probably made by the builder.

What does MOC mean?

Oh, so you are one of them who was at the auction at Örebro? We had a little discussion about that in our Swedish LEGO forum SweBrick, apperantly it was a compulsory auction so sadly there must have been some poor AFOL (adult fan of lego) that was forced to sell his collection.

I think I read that the prices for your ships were 2400 and 700 SEK, is that right? That is a really good deal in that case

The person who bought the "rescue boat" put up some pictures too, although it seems he is going to resell it on Tradera (Swedish Ebay).

That's correct, it was an auction in Örebro.

It was an impulse buy, since i thout it would give my kids a real building challenge.

They will for sure have a lot of fun with the boats.
