commanderneyo Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 (edited) I'm sure this must have been answered, but is there a confirmed release date? I need to put it in my calendar you see (if there is any room). According to Brickipedia, The release date is the third of february Edited October 25, 2010 by commanderneyo Quote
Oky Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 Why do you always stick your tongue out when you say that? It makes it kinda hard to take you serious, especially since the source you're stating is brickipedia, one of the most unreliable sources out there. But yeah, amazon states the release to be start of February as well. Quote

Also brickipedia is kind of the same as wookiepedia as it,s people like us who put the stuff there like the Mace Windu's starfighter and battle for Geonosis pages were made by me. Oky Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 Sorry, didn't mean to offend you. It's just that unlike on wookieepedia, there are a lot of immature people posting fake future releases on brickipedia. Quote

Oky Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 *Sigh* I'm not saying that wookiee is completely immaturity free. All -pedias are considered bad sources as anyone can edit them. That said, let's get back on topic. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 You guys do realize that Wookieepedia has Admins for a reason, right? If there's something inaccurate, they can correct it. Quote
The Legonater Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 Well the video did mention that the PC now has a full range of motion, I don't know if that means he's no longer confined to the preset 8 (4?) directions or.... I thought that was talking abou the dueling- if yo look at the Ashoka vs. Gerivous part, there's a lot of new moves. Quote

At least they fixed that. LSW Complete Saga fro Wii's 'lightsaber control with Wiimote' feature was just a slower way of hitting the attack button. Star Wars: Obi-Wan for XBox had an awesome lightsaber combat system. Using the d-pad and force modifiers, there were tons of ways you could string together attacks into combos. The other games have some combos, but they're hard to notice and even harder to execute. Hopefully this makes up for that loss. Quote
commanderneyo Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 I don't know if this was posted yet. Quote
The Legonater Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 I don't know if this was posted yet. Yeah, that was posted a while ago. I'm liking the game so far. Quote
DarthSion Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 So that said summer next year, which is my winter, so June 2011 onwards, that sucks. Quote
Siegfried Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 I've changed the title to say "Due Q1 2011"... Quote
commanderneyo Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 (edited) Some Guy on facebook reckons he heard rumors of the demo coming out. Giannhs Petkanis For Europe, it will be releasd in either 30 of November or December...... It was announced.... Demo will come oute earlier in November.. So, until then, upgrade your pcs and get ready for thrilling adventures!!!!!!! Though we already know the game comes out February 3rd 2011. If the demo is true what episode from the clone wars or scene from the clone wars movie would you like to play? Edited October 27, 2010 by commanderneyo Quote
mrfootball Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 (edited) Since the Lego Star Wars video game franchise is the best selling Star Wars video game franchise in history, one would think they bumped it back to early 2011 (rather than having it ready for the 2010 Christmas season) in order to bolster their bargaining position with LucasFilm and the new licensing agreement? commanderneyo Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 The Ambush demo was cool. There were like 3 clones and Yoda, so I'm hoping large battles will happen. I'm hoping for a ton of clone NPCs, battling a bunch of droid NPCs. They also did a demo of Shadow of Malevolence but no one got a video of it. Quote
Masked Builder Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 They also did a demo of Shadow of Malevolence but no one got a video of it. Actually the company that is making it got a good one. The link was several pages back though. Quote
commanderneyo Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 Actually the company that is making it got a good one. The link was several pages back though. Not that of Chris playing the game. That was not a demo it was just so they could show off some of the new stuff in the game like story swap and getting out of vehicles. Quote

The Legonater Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 I though it was February? So did I, but DarthSion's saying June. I certainly hope not- that's way to far, especialy when they've already done so much. Quote

Ah, well, I can wait. I've now got LDD 4 and I want to play around with that; I'll probably get Civ 5 by Summer 2011, and I'll be addicted to that, and there's Black Friday in between where, if all goes well, I'll have a lot of new LEGO that I'll want to thoroughly review for the Academy. DarthSion Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 I am just going by what it said, US summer is my winter, mine just ended, so June to September, I am betting more like September as most games come out then.
