Brickdoctor Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 Yeah, but I think that's a new grapple ability or something mentioned before. Good news! I was in HMV today, and noticed int he game section a pre-order box for LSW 3 with a date of Febuary 13th on it! So the release date is...what, now? I just realized they could do a video with naration intro like CW shiws begin with, although that would violate the 'LEGOs can't speak a language' rule. Quote
DarthSion Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 The release date, is when you see it in stores, this seems to be a bad trend these days, more and more games are being delayed. Quote

Its around March (Some rumors coming around that the Release is March 20th but Who knows?) Anyway here is a clip of the Geonosis arena stage cutscene from Attack Of The Clones http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQ6EtSIMREA Just as I thought and some of you may have feared. For the Attack of The Clones scenes the Characters (Obi-Wan, Padme, Anakin Clones and more) will have their CW Faces (Helmets in Clones case) in those Levels instead of their Attack Of The Clones Looks EDIT: If you want more of those videos you need to Join the Galaxy in the Lego Star Wars 3 site. It has a lot of great videos and Characters you can unlock There are 4 Videos all different for the AOTC Geonosis. Several for Jedi Crash, Duel Of the Droids, Blue Shadow Virus, Maridun Levels and a Bad Guys Video as well and many more http://www.lucasarts.com/games/legostarwarsiii/ Edited December 28, 2010 by commanderneyo Quote

Forresto Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Is it just me, or is the lighting for the Arena scene truly amazing? Compared to all the other Lego games, this may have the best graphics. Quote

Yeah, I've seen that demo. It's actually pretty good once you get that hang of it. Quote
commanderneyo Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Didn't we already know about cloney-ish faces on AotC? Yes I was just using the Clones as another Example Quote

Compared to all the other Lego games, this may have the best graphics. I'd be disappointed if they didn't get better. LSW1 had much worse graphics than any of the newer games. Quote
Ceroknight Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 I'd be disappointed if they didn't get better. LSW1 had much worse graphics than any of the newer games. It makes sense as it is one of the oldest... I'm having trouble on the lucasart site..not loading right Quote
Brickdoctor Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 (edited) It makes sense as it is one of the oldest... I'm having trouble on the lucasart site..not loading right That was the general idea; that the graphics have been improving therefore I'd be disappointed if they didn't for LSW3. The Legonater Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 IMO, this is the perfect cutsceane to advertise LSWIII. It has everything of the past games, but it still shows that there's new stuff coming. Quote

commanderneyo Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Thanks for that SoloGuy Not hard to guess what Season 3 Characters. More than likely they mean Anakin, Obi-Wan and Ahsoka in their new Outfits Quote
The Legonater Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Some interesting news, there. Now that there's TFU charetcers, I'm sure Darth Sion will buy it Quote
DarthSion Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 OMG 300 characters at one time that is very impressive. Well season 3 is obviously have to be Savaage for one, Oh I hope 99. TFU yes, I had a feeling. Ah maybe The Legonater, I assume there is a PC version, buying it on my PS3 is going to be tricking, unless the master key has actually been found. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 TFU? I wonder how they'll tie that into the game. I guess it'll probably just be Starkiller though, maybe Juno, but no characters that aren't already minifigs. Quote
DarthSion Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 They won't tie it in, they will just be unlockable, like lego Indi in the saga, or maybe its more like how you free Luke and the others in lego Indi 1. I wish TTgames would do a TFU lego game, some of their trade mark humour could certainly help out TFU2 story. Quote
commanderneyo Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 I can see the additional Characters from Classic Films, TFU and Season 3 panning out mainly like this TFU= Starkiller, Rahm Kota(Possibly) and Juno Eclipse(Hopefully redone as the made Lego version doesen't suit her in my opinion) Classic= Vader, Luke, Chewbacca, Han Solo, Leia and Lando Calrissian. Season 3= ARC Trooper, Anakin Ahsoka and Obi-Wan(New Outfits) and Savage Opress. Quote

DarthSion Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 I don't think so, the games are owned by LA anyway. Well after reading stuff in the SW June sets, I would guess this. Savaage would be definite. Ki was already in the previous, so would say he is in. Giving TLG is doing a new Maul I would say he is in. Greedo was in the previous so I would say him, and Watto. Would guess Vos and Eeth might be in. I am just guessing as TLG are making sets this year with them that they will be in the new game. Quote
Ceroknight Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Sounds fantastic, is there going to be a collector's edition like with harry potter? Quote
DarthSion Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Without a sold release date there won't be info on a collectors edition just yet. Quote
commdr_neyo Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 I just got the Dutch Lego Magazine, and there was an ad for LSW:III, saying it will come this february! Quote
CF Mitch Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Wait, what? What LEGO magazine is that? The one from LEGO Club? But good to know that it's coming in February. Let's hope they won't postpone it again. Regards, CF W Quote
