Brickdoctor Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Agreed, though it appears that the Malevolence has gained some reputation; but I suppose you can add that to the list of forgotten superweapons along with the Orbital Nightcloak, World Devastators, the Galaxy Gun, the Sun Crusher, and Darksaber. ...Centerpoint, Star Forge, Dark Reaper, Tarkin, Eclipse-class... Dathomir to Lehon to Felucia. Courtship came nearly a decade before KOTOR. No actual order there. Just listed three planets. Quote
Oky Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 It's great how in those little TV spots they animated the Clone Armor correctly, but in the game it's the EpII/EpIII armor with the CW helmet. I still think those might be preliminary, or at least alternate skins. I can't imagine the CW design not to be in the game... I don't see why it would be included- it hasn't appeared in any of the movies or the series. Neither has the Droid Gunship, and yet it's included. It hasn't? Then 7679 is actually an Expanded Universe set? (It came with the new clones, so I assumed the TX-130 had already made its appearance in the series.) No, it hasn't, but that doesn't make it an EU set. The vehicle appeared briefly in ROTS, and since the set has the CW figs, it's officially considered a CW set. Quote
Fallenangel Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 ...Centerpoint, Star Forge, Dark Reaper, Tarkin, Eclipse-class... Mass Shadow Generator, Eye of Palpatine, Sovereign-class, Yo'Gand's Core... Neither has the Droid Gunship, and yet it's included. If you mean the HMP, I'm fairly certain it was seen on Kashyyyk in Sith. No, it hasn't, but that doesn't make it an EU set. BrickArtist Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Yes-The HMP made a prominent appearance in Sith, it was the CIS' aerial support in the Battle of Kashyyk. Eight can be seen here. They were needed to counter the might and armor of the CTT. Quote
Oky Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 (edited) If you mean the HMP, I'm fairly certain it was seen on Kashyyyk in Sith. I think he was talking only about TCW, considering the TX-130 did appear in the movies as well. Strange that they would put the new clones in a set based on a vehicle from the movies. Not really. Those were the clones that were used in all the other sets at the time, so it would have created unnecessary costs and inconsistency to put in non-CW clones. Besides, is there really such a big difference? * * Rhetorical question. Please don't start an anti-CW-faces flame war. Thanks. Edited March 17, 2011 by Oky Wan Kenobi Quote
Fallenangel Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 I think he was talking only about TCW, considering the TX-130 did appear in the movies as well. Really? I don't recall seeing it anywhere in the films. Not really. ADHO15 Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 I think he was talking only about TCW, considering the TX-130 did appear in the movies as well. I don't think it did, just games and other media. I would have expected it to be in the game though, as it's been used in other LEGO animations. We didn't see AT-APs on Geonosis, yet here they are. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Really? I don't recall seeing it anywhere in the films. Wookieepedia says it was only in the Sith novel, and not seen on-screen in any movie. Quote
Oky Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 I don't think it did, just games and other media. Hm, I guess you're right (as you always are ). I must have confused it with the Turbo Tank. Still, it's considered a CW set and should be in the game IMO. It was one of the best vehicles in SWBF2 and surely would be lots of fun to drive in this game too. I would have expected it to be in the game though, as it's been used in other LEGO animations. We didn't see AT-APs on Geonosis, yet here they are. Exactly. Quote

Brickdoctor Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Really? I don't recall that. Screenies anyone? As said above, they don't appear, actually. Only in the Sith novel. Quote
Sulfurix Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 I went to my local Game Stop today and was able to look at the player guide for Lego Star Wars III. Fill free to ask questions. Quote
commanderneyo Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Here are a couple of gameplay vids (Both from Duel Of The Droids) Quote
DarthR2-D2 Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 Awesome, I'm gonna get this as soon as it comes out next week. I'll probably get my cousin that works at GameStop to get it for me. Quote
The Legonater Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 Personally, that looks like a sweet level- Two boss battles, lots of R2 control work, and a short little 'space' segment. The closest thing to this is the other LSW games was the Bespin Duel. Quote
commanderneyo Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 (edited) This Lego Star Wars 3 cutscene vid is funny! Heres another one. EDIT: Here's a complete walkthrough of the Geonosis Arena level and at the start this level confirms the Geonosis levels will be first in the game then Ambush... Cad Bane Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 (edited) I know this doesn't really pertain to the game, but I saw someone as Greedo on the official site and am currently trying to figure out his code. If I figure it out I will post it here, if someone has already figured it out please share... Edited March 20, 2011 by Cad Bane Quote

DarthR2-D2 Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Jabba The Hutt is also the other character with a code in the updated website... Well Jabba has been in the movie and the series (on more than one occasion if I'm not mistaken). So he would be in the game. Quote

commdr_neyo Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 I know I was just telling Cad Bane the other character that there is a code needed for in the website game. So Greedo is in there too? It just got updated.. I've also seen an Ewok (older style), and I bought a Senate Commando. There are also another also 2 other figures for me to be bought, and 4 extra other spots.. Quote

Does anyone know what happens when your team wins the building challenge on Ryloth? When you win on Ryloth that's how you unlock Aayla Secura. The complete list of known new characters for the website game are (Secura, Wicket, Droideka, Senate Commando, Greedo and Jabba The Hutt) Quote
Cad Bane Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 (edited) I haven't seen Jabba, but there have been plenty of the other characters that you mentioned. There are some new achievements as well: -place the winning brick on the statue (the roman numeral 3 thing) -Fall into the pits 10 times -Make 100 clones poo -Add a brick to some stairs -Be on the winning team -Activate a Holobridge on Ryloth There's probably more, but that's all I've discovered (that are new, not including the old one because I believe that those were posted a while back...). Hope this helps! Edited March 20, 2011 by Cad Bane Quote
