SpiderSpaceman Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Seriously, who would want to play as Whorm Loathsom? (or however you spell his name) That's probably just going to be a useless character with no attack and no specials, like Boss Nass was in Complete Saga. If it's more parts for custom characters, don't complain Quote
Oky Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 I had a little bit of time to play it today, and I gotta say it's pretty awesome. The most interesting thing for me was that while in the Venator, you can open up a map of the playable planets and choose which villain to pursue, kinda like in Ratchet & Clank. It's really fun instantly barbecuing entire droid armies with the stun tank! Is anyone else bothered by the fact that jar jar is just wearing Nadahrs torso? It looks so wrong in my opinion. Yes, I am too. I was hoping that was preliminary, but no. I don't understand why they did this, and it does look weird with the brown neck print. Quote
ADHO15 Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 I just bought mine from GAME and got a £5 off and a free 8028 MINI TIE Fighter with it! I'd recommend going there for it if you're in the UK! Now to play! Quote
Solscud007 Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 I experienced a rather annoying glitch. I was playing a General Grievous level. There is a scene where Obi Wan and Anakin split off. Obi wan's party has to jump up some platforms and Anakin is flying around in a shuttle (sorry cant remember the name its like a V19 but has a bubble cockpit) You have anakin dock the shuttle on the landing platform and smash a wall to unlock some platforms for obiwans party. Well I had reached the top of the level and fought Grievous then went into a hangar. I then switched to Anakin and had him climb into the shuttle and fly around. I switched back to Obiwan and unlocked the pink proton torpedoes. when i switched back to anakin he was without a shuttle and was falling thru space. Died, respawned and fell. This repeated it self. I was able to switch back to Obiwan but I can see in the upper right hand corner that Anakin was still repeatedly falling. I had to restart the level. I figure I wont have anakin fly in the shuttle until after I unlock the proton torpedoes. Then switch to anakin and have him take off and fly. No problems. Quote
Sisco Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 I had a glitch on that level, too. It was in free play as Count Dooku in The Soulless One. I flew to the back of the Venator to try and destroy the big black thing in which I assumed was a minikit. I crashed. The game froze mid-crash animation, and let loose an extremely loud and annoying buzzing sound. I turned my Wii off. Has this happened to anyone else? Quote
Solscud007 Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 (edited) I havent started free play yet. I just finished story mode. There are only three characters right? Asajj Ventress Count Dooku General Grivous then then they each have 6 storied that branch off? I bought it for the PS3 so I can have HDMI HD picture quality on my 46" Vizio. It sure looks pretty. The sad thing is I want to buy legos more now haha. I need a separatist tank!!! Im finding the AT-AP to be the best ground assault vehicle. It can destroy silver coated weapons/buildings far more quickly than the AT-TE. However I have to use the laser tank for the gold weapons/buildings. Edited March 25, 2011 by Solscud007 Quote

Yeah it's great! I do like the Laser tank though. Edit: I can now confirm that each person has 6 levels. Edited March 26, 2011 by Masked Builder Quote
Masked Builder Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Sorry for the double post but I thought it was necessary. I can now announce that there's an epilogue. It's the first Zillo beast episode. When you go to the main ship/menu area, you can go down the elevator to the engine room then go up to a doorway and build with the gold bricks, go up that bridge and then to the left. Then up that elevator to the ship room. Call a ship and fly out into space. You can get into the separatist ship and that's where you buy the bad guys. Boy that's a lot! Quote
Sisco Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 There's also a bounty hunter level (Hostage Crisis), along with 16 bounty hunter missions in the style of LSW2. You can get to these in the separatist cruiser on the left side, where there's a bounty hunter panel. There's also a Dooku level, titled Castle of Doom. It's Dooku and a magnaguard trying to kill Rotta on Tattooine. It's also on the seperatist cruiser, to the right side. You use the force to lift the bridge, then go to the extra vehicle access panel. Select whatever, and drive it to the orange platform, and park it. The door should open. I don't know if this was mentioned previously, but there is also Republic Assault and Seperatist Assault modes. It's a ground battle, with an objective and a time limit. For each objective reached before the time limit, a gold brick is recieved. I'm at 61% now, and that's all I know so far. Quote

Do you know how to do that? We're at 39% right now. Quote
Sisco Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 I found Cad Bane just walking around the main section for 250,000 studs. And no, it's just regular force for the bridge on the right side. Once I figured it out, I was actually pretty surprised how simple it was. And once you play Dooku's level, you'll get Dooku and the magnaguard. Quote

Sisco Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Well if you want to buy a dark character, you have to hit him until he stands straight up, and the function button flashes. Quote

Oh okay. Good to know! This is going to be so much easier! One more question. What do the minikits build? I'm suspecting that they build the Classic guys which we can then play as. Is that right? No all the classic characters were revealed here so it is more likely they are Season 3 characters... http://forums.lucasarts.com/thread.jspa?threadID=145006&tstart=0 ^And why look for the characters and buy them with studs all you have to do is enter these codes and you can get them free... Sisco Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Yes, I can confirm that the minikits are the classic characters. To unlock, you go to the minikit room, go to their container, and click "release character". They will come out, and you can buy them. Quote

Sisco Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 You get 10/10 minikits on a level, then they're unlocked. Then you go buy them. Quote

When I am in the hangar I noticed a Hub station. When you access the HUB here are 6 choices. Right to Left and top to bottom: Story mode, Select System, Character Ground assault, LOCKED, 2-player battle When I change the system I fly around and shoot the gold ball in space and then have a time limit to shoot Lego items and build studs. I then get a gold brick. I have only changed systems twice. One I was shooting separatist ships. The other I was shooing those flapping bird like space whales. Which system do you board the separatist level? I'm really impressed at how much depth this game has. So many levels of various game play. Edited March 26, 2011 by Solscud007 Quote

Sulfurix Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Agreed. So does anyone know what the LOCKED level is? Yes. It is Separist ground assault, bottom far left is Republic ground assault. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Yes. It is Separist ground assault, bottom far left is Republic ground assault. Oh, that makes sense. (I was just hoping for something totally awesome and unheard of, like Space Assault or something) Quote

I actually agree full on with you the only reason I am being naughty and using the codes is because Lucasarts was naugty and scattered all the characters around the ship instead of having you just go some random place and pay at the counter...
