ADHO15 Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 I'm glad to help, but try yourselves first. I managed to figure them all out! Thanks. Wow I didn't realize that I wrote it like that. Sorry it was a question . That helps a lot. Another one I had trouble getting was that one in the room where you fight Grievous in duel of the droids that's behind the glass. Thanks. That's alright. For that one, you need to use hovering character (astromech/Jango/Bane) to go over to the left side of the screen. I think it might be an electricity console over there that you use to blow the minikit out. AdHo, Have you traveled to every system? If you go to the HUB, the top row, middle selection is "Select System". When i change systems I can see the venator travel thrue hyper space (looking out the window) and then I take a ship from the hanger and run about outside. Im wondering if there are more ships you can dock besides the Invisible Hand? There aren't, but most systems have a gold brick floating halfway between the two ships. If you shoot this, you'll begin a space mission which you get a gold brick for completing. The games just involve shooting 'LEGO' objects in space. Some are gold or silver, so you'll have to use certain ships for those. Quote

Did you conquer all of the systems for either side yet, because I tried a couple and they are very hard and they give you hardly any time to complete it. If you have any tips for those missions that would be fantastic! Quote

I'm saving those for after the free-plays. I want to build on that question... Is the Invisible Hand with the Republic cruiser everywhere? (I've only been on it once so far.) Yep, I think it's always there. I've not tried, but I'd imagine it would be. Quote
Penitent Tangent Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 The assault missions really aren't very difficult, especially once you have the multiplier bricks. I went through them all with a friend, basically all you need is an AT-TE and one of those electric tanks and you can completely obliterate everything in your path.. The AT-TE especially seems stupidly overpowered, being almost invincible. Quote

The AT-TE especially seems stupidly overpowered, being almost invincible. I like to cheat and use Invincibility but I prefer the the AT-AP to the AT-TE. It is faster and you can shoot/aim at targets much closer. I find the AT-TE has a blind spot for the cannon if you get too close. Also it annoys me that the AT-TE can drive backwards. I prefer to have 4 laser cannons in the front demolish the waves of battle droids. Quote
DarthR2-D2 Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Just 1 more for story mode...Grievous Intrigue...How do I beat Grievous on the bridge of the Republic cruiser (w/ Obi & Clone)????? Quote
Solscud007 Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 most of the time you throw things with the force at grievous. Hey guys when I'm in a stage that has me fly around the venator, I notice sections that glow red for the use of the Dark Side force powers. But I can't land to do anything. Is there a ship that allows the use of the force while you fly around? Quote
SpiderSpaceman Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 ok, the character list is extraordinarily disappointing no Pre Vizla? no Mandalorians, period? no Hondo Ohnaka? :cry_sad: Quote
CF Mitch Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Eh, Hondo Ohnaka is in fact available. I got him quite some time ago And as far as Mandalorians go, I notice a helmet-silhouette similar to the new Boba Fett helmet, but I assume that is Jango Fett instead Of to school now, can't wait to play when I get back Regards, Mitch Quote
Professor Flitwick Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 ok, the character list is extraordinarily disappointing With a Lego game we always miss out people. Harry Potter missed Firenze the Centaur, Madame Maxine, Lavender Brown, etc. I suppose the problem with doing a game on the Clone Wars is that they only did levels from when they started creating the game. For the first time I hope this Lego game gets DLC; we could have downloadable 'Episodes' or 'Plot Arcs', not to mention individual characters. no Pre Vizla? I had to search for who this guy is. Though I do wish the character list was more like Harry Potter's; I didn't know everyone there either. no Mandalorians, period? If I remember correctly, none of them were involved with the Seperitists, where they? So they Would not of fit in within the theme of tracking down either Grievous, Ventress or Dooku. no Hondo Ohnaka? :cry_sad: True; he should've been the boss at the end of the level. I find it odd they put in Senator Kharrus and not Ohnaka. Quote

You can't do anything with those in Story Mode, but in free-play, just change ships like you would change characters on the ground. When you are in an enemy ship, just shoot at the Dark Force objects until they break open. With a Lego game we always miss out people. That would be a nice idea that they could start to introduce. Episodes like the Death Watch arc, Bounty Hunters, Boba Fett arc, etc. could all be nice additions. If I remember correctly, none of them were involved with the Seperitists, where they? So they Would not of fit in within the theme of tracking down either Grievous, Ventress or Dooku. True; he should've been the boss at the end of the level. I find it odd they put in Senator Kharrus and not Ohnaka. The Death Watch were supported by Dooku and the Separatists, but I don't think they were essential to add to the game. That arc wouldn't have been better than anything that was included. As mentioned above, Hondo Ohnaka is available to buy (in Ziro's room). What I though was strange was that they included people like Senator Kharrus as characters, but didn't use them in the cutscenes! As for looking at the game as a sneak-peek for future sets, I'm not really sure. Ki-Adi-Mundi is very different from his fig, whereas Eeth Koth is very similar as the one coming this summer. The BARC speeder was included, but not Bomb Squad troopers, as well as the Halo and an Aurra Sing similar to the real fig. So who knows? Quote
Professor Flitwick Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 So who knows? Impossible to know where to start drawing the lines between likely-candidates and off-the-wall candidates. For example, we could play as Madame Rosmerta, or Professor Bins in Harry Potter, but we'd never see those as figures, would we? Quote

Yes but Lavender wasn't in the game she only made her film debut in the 6TH film. Yeah I really hope this game gets a DLC it's a major disapointment to what I hoped it was going to be. The lack of Season 2 levels and no level creator is a key factor. It will only be justice if we get at least 3 DLC's featuring at least 2 new levels in both. ^Because after all Landing At Point Rain would make total sense for a ground battle which is why I don't understand why it wasn't in the original game and there are several episodes in there that would suit Lego's style as well "The Mandalore Plot" being one of those. Also in fact I just e-mailed Lucasarts about a possible DLC so i'm eagerly waiting their response... Quote

Adi Gallia or the commando droid, for example, could make perfect future figs. ^Because after all Landing At Point Rain would make total sense for a ground battle which is why I don't understand why it wasn't in the original game and there are several episodes in there that would suit Lego's style as well "The Mandalore Plot" being one of those. Well, that would make it very similar to 'Weapons Factory', so it wasn't essential to include it. Each part of the Ryloth trilogy is very different, and so including each part works well. Not so much with Geonosis. I don't think adding anything more would make it any better. Quote

I don't see why we won't ever get a Commando Droid it's an exact repaint of the Battle Droid which we know is the easiest figure to make. Hmm it would actually make it more similar to the AOTC "Battle Of Geonosis" level because if you noticed that level used all the sound effects that were in Landing At Point Rain. Quote
DarthR2-D2 Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 Sorry about these questions but...What do I do (in the Castle of Doom) in the room w/ the sail barge. Quote

I'd rather get an accurate head if they are going to make one. A BD head wouldn't be right. Okay... either way, it's still a third Geonosis ground battle, which isn't necessary. Either that or they made it like the level from LSW1! Sorry about these questions but...What do I do (in the Castle of Doom) in the room w/ the sail barge. You need to blow up the skiff and add the pieces to the barge, break down the crate and the pieces to the barge, destroy the things nearby and add the pieces to the barge. Then you need to power up the barge using the console and drive it out. Quote

I got Tarkin along the way too, but I'm not sure when. I think Gunray popped up in the brig when I'd converted Naboo, and Loathsome when I converted Christophsis. PS. The word is 'to'.
