chewie Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 well, I made this after joining Piratebrick.com. I thought it would be cool to make a Pirate MOC, I however do not own enough Pirates to really do anything, so I turned to my Vikings. This is what I like to call Viking Lookout, its a small Viking encampment with a log "wall" and a watch tower, not to special, but it was fun to make and is probably one of my better "base" MOC's if you would call it that. Pic 1 Pic 2 I've put two deeplinks, the rest of the gallery should be modded soon. Questions/Comments as always are welcome. Enjoy!! Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 Wow that's really neat! I love the way you made the campfire Quote
ApophisV Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 Simple yet effective construction! I escpecially like the construction of the burning stone (?), great shaped thingie! Quote
Yuppley Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 Lol, good, but the efire looks like a bomb to me  Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 Very nice Chewie. Simple design that looks very good. Quote
Aredhel Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 That's really cute!!! Nice MOC, chewie!!! Quote
SuvieD Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 Simple and very cool. I like the use of the net to hold the greenery for a canopy. The double ladder pieces seems a little off but other than that I like the whole idea and I can see this as part of a village or something. It would make a good outpost for that. Quote
jonfett Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 This reminded me of Kashyyk at first, with the sea and then the log defense. It looks very natrual Chewie, I love the fire as well! Good stuff! Jon. Quote

Thanks a lot, I don't like the double ladder either, it was just somthing fast to throw on so the big ladder peice would stay standing. Thanks everyone else for the comments!! Quote
Sir Dillon Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 I like it. As others have said, very simple but cool. I think one of my favorite parts in just how you turned the logs sideways to make a wall. Quote
