Gurbert Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 I ordered Broadside Brig and Sabre Island a few weeks ago and wondered whether I could make a small MOC by using only elements from these two sets. Here's what I got - and so there are some small faults that would never occur in an official set I like it anyway, but any feedback is welcome More pictures can be found at http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=419990 I should note that there's a similar idea posted here a while ago http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=37630 Quote
Rick Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 I bought those two sets recently myself and thought about doing the same thing, but you beat me to it. Looks like a decent little fort Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 Very nice and simple fort, mixing the two sets together really worked. Great work 'Gurbert' and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Big Cam Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 Nice combination, it reminds me of the old school sets. Quote
Kintoé Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 Nice work! I really like the MOCs made with classic pirate sets, especially the sets of the soldiers. That proves that the old ones were made by lego to encourage creativity. Quote
