Captain Blackmoor Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 The Bayhorse Tavern. Another overview. The merchant's cart. The other side with stairs and walkway. The whole interior. You can rent a bed upstairs and eat or drink something on the main floor. Although now is not the best time... Yay! Pub brawl! Food fight! Furniture throwing! What do you do when you've wasted your shot? Indeed! Smack the opponent's face! His mum told him always to throw trash away. Thanks for watching and keep an eye on the horizon for the next part of the Gold Road! More pictures, close ups and details on Flickr! Catch you later! Quote
Fires-storm Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 An amazing construction Captain Blackmoor! I love the detail of the bar fight, and the mountain technique and merchant cart are stunning, I love the whole thing truth be told! great work Quote
L-space Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 (edited) Looking good Captain. Very detail filled and nicely done as well. Maybe you could add a cellar. There is plenty of room by the looks of it. And that would make a nice addition for more action. Edited February 10, 2010 by L-space Quote
Admiral Croissant Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 Awesome MOC! The fighting scene in the tavern is really great to see The 'trash' that's being thrown away is also very funny The entire scene is just wonderfoul. The only thing I dislike is the men without a hat or something. I don't really like the look of the studs. But for the rest: good work! Quote
Big Cam Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 I love all the details, and the foliage, you can't have a passed out drunk sailor without some brush for him to sleep in. Quote
Blackheart Brit Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 tons of details, nicely packed. Quote
Ratshot Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 This is certainly a place of danger and killing! Your building talent seems to be really blossoming lately, PTV II and now this. The only negative feeling that I have with this is that some of your bricks are dusty. Top work on the amount of details Blacky Quote
Derfel Cadarn Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 Another very nice build from you. I love overgrown buildings and you've really captured that old overgrown feeling. Lovely details and a nice interior with some great scenes going on! Good work, i look 4ward to the next installment Quote
Alex the Great Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 Very well done Captain Blackmoor! The building itself is great, and I love all the minifig poses (especially the guy being bunted in the head with the gun ) Can't wait to see the rest of this series! Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 AWESOME and very funny 'Captain Blackmoor' ! Fantastic MOC, cart and all ! Tavern itself is very period and yes that's how you put the trash out ! I'm a conformist! 'Captain Blackmoor' ! Quote
Swab Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Excellent MOC! I love all of the little details. Looking forward to seeing more. Swab Quote

CommanderFox Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 That is one surperb MOC Captain Blackmoor! I really like the tavern, and the fight scene going on. I like the road aswell, the little round 1x1s look great as pebbles. Really looking forward to seeing more parts! CommanderFox Quote
Viking Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 It's a great work /w vivid scene! I like the motions, just like seeing a real pirate movie! Nice work!! Quote
fenris Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Amazing job. I love the way you rebuilt nature and make it look like nature. That's pretty hard with lego and not very often achieved at this level. Great work. All those details and little stories and scenes really add even more to this fantastic moc... could look at it for an hour always discovering something new... Quote
Topsy Cret Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Very nice! The furniture looks very familiar... I seem to recall seeing it on MOCpages. Quote
Captain Becker Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 This was hilarius MOC Blackmoor i really enjoyed that taverns food fight and that pirate who "Trhows the trash away" The sleeping place was very well done and the whole MOC is just lovley Keep it up, i wait for more of these great MOC`s from you Captain becker Quote
tomie satoshi Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Great build, great details (best is scared face of one sailor with hat witch is in the air), and only thing that i don't like is that the trash-man soldier has beard witch is not alowed in the army. But that's not some problem and i can't say anything more couse i don't have any build to compete with you so i'll just shut my mouth. Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted February 12, 2010 Author Posted February 12, 2010 Thank you for all the replies guys! I'm glad you like it, the next part is progressing well. Thanks for frontpaging it at the EB frontpage Zorro! It was great fun making the pub brawl and the 'trash' scene. I'm glad it turned out well. Thanks again for all the replies! Quote
the_green_avenger Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 I like the idea. So much great detail you got there! Both the jungle and the tavern had a lot of greaT quality. Really, really, really, really, really awesome. hurry up with that second one! I can't wait! Quote
I Scream Clone Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 A really nicely designed Tavern! I like the action. The floor is nicely done, great looking tavern all round actually. I would have like to have seen the baseplate of the tavern concealed on the back but that is only a small nitpick on what is a great job. Quote
Henning M. Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 Oh I simply love all those details. It might very well be pirates after I finnish my next town creation. so many possibilities thanks for the very cleverly made layout. tons of small but great details. All the best Henning m. Quote
