February 11, 201015 yr Awesoem. I ahven't seen anything to do with Flash Gordon in a long time. Although he's a simple setup, you nailed him. The Emperor Ming, Princess Aura and Price Vultan looks pretty spot on too. Great job!
February 11, 201015 yr Just yesterday I was looking at Emperor Chang Wu from 7419 Dragon Fortress and being reminded that I wanted to watch Flash Gordon again. Now today there are these wonderful creations on the front page! What are the odds? What you've done is fantastic. Thanks for sharing!
February 11, 201015 yr Fantastic! You've really captured Ming, and I love Brian Blessed's big mouth! Gordon's Alive!! Even Mrs Rufus liked that one: Cool! Wicked! And a from me too.
February 11, 201015 yr Gotta be done... FLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SSH! Brilliant little MOC there! Love Ming! M.
February 11, 201015 yr Great stuff. Really brings me back to the early comics and ofcourse the movie. Outstanding job, keep 'm coming.
February 11, 201015 yr Nice. You really captured the feel of Flash well. The Emperor Ming is great, and the back ground is fantastic. I love the way you put allot of chrome pieces in! Great Job ~Insectoid Aristocrat
February 11, 201015 yr Buster Crabbe would be have with the Flash Gordon figure (he was the original Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers too) Ming the very nasty - is AWESOME ! My only problem is with Vultan, he had a beard and was quite gruff - a bit little like Hagrid from HP ! Vultan from the 1980 film and 1930's film serial. Other than that - pretty dam well AWESOME 'LegoLyons' and I'm a conformist! !!! P.S. Now how about 1980's Buck Rogers or Blakes 7 then 'LegoLyons' - I'm setting the challenge now eh ?

Thanks for the nice comments, look very carefully Vultan does have a beard. And I'm pretty sure it's the best choice from my extensive fleshie collection, what face would you suggest? I only use 100% official LEGO parts. As for your challenge, they are 2 programmes that I never watch, but hey I'll see what I can do! :)
February 11, 201015 yr Hello! A great movie setup with a high level of recognition! I like that you only use official parts for your mini figures, which is the same approach I use. You have really chosen torsos and body parts very well! Plus, it's great to see some more creations from various SciFi movies like Flash Gordon. A great contribution to the versatility in this forum. Cheers, ~ Christopher
