Erdbeereis Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 That's absolutely ridiculous. Why pay $350 for a set with under 100 pieces, most of which are easy to bricklink. I don't think it's worth $350 just for a box...
Skelotic Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 Well this is a brick link item but I mean really did this person rob a truckload. Click and another one of hers Click
SupaaSayajin Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 No, that's a professional seller who buys directly from Lego so 50% off ;) Though I don't know what's up with those big lots -> crazy
SupaaSayajin Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 (edited) WHAT THE F*** !!!! Ebayers are so crazy!!!: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...A:IT&ih=011 207 Euro and not even finished, on bricklink available for: 85 Euro!?!!? http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...A:IT&ih=011 203 Euro and not even finished, on bricklink available for: 175$ ~ 130 Euro..... I dont get it.. I just get that I have that 6698 in misb, too.... more and more you could start buying from bricklink and sell on ebay!?!? this will go out sick amount, too, its not available on BL: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...A:IT&ih=011 Edited October 9, 2008 by SupaaSayajin
SupaaSayajin Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 (edited) Oh my... This guy made 1443 Euro with 8 lego sets worth probably not more than ~ 900 Euro, look: ebayers are officially crazy.. the yellow "Notiz:" is the bricklink price for that set in misb... Hewman Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 I learn something new every day, apparently star wars lego dates back to the 80s and early 90s, well according to this guy anyway Star Wars buy it now Thankfully I'm local to this guy so I can save on postage, but it is free if the bid goes above his buy it now price of $6,000. I assume he's going to buy a new camera with his earnings from this sale.

It strikes me as strange if you are selling this much SW lego and do not know anything about the stuff. The seller also has 0 feedback. Makes you wonder.
SupaaSayajin Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 (edited) This is 5 times on brickling available and it sold for even more that the most expensive...!?! http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...A:IT&ih=025 http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?viewFr...rt=P&sz=100 Edited October 13, 2008 by SupaaSayajin
Dadster Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 Most folks think Ebay as the be-all, end-all for buying and selling over the internet. I myself didn't know of BL until years later...
Buttons Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 I once watched some one pay over 1500 euroes for a Vauxhaul Victor Estate lego car from the 60's. So if anyone has got one then they are VERY lucky
voltio Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 I don't know if this counts as "crazy," but I do think I got an interesting deal on an abused 7676 Republic Attack Gunship. http://tinyurl.com/6n34sl It was $42 shipped with no figs and a weight of roughly 1292 grams (just including the bricks); Bricklink lists the set as weighing 2000 grams, but that includes instructions, figures, and the box, so I assume that I got most of the parts. Whether or not I purchased wisely depends on whether "may be incomplete" means missing 30% of the parts or missing a few plates and a windscreen.
Donut Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 (edited) Here's one, baby T-Rex auction , seller is asking for $150 USD for starting bid along with a $5.50 shipping charge! The description is very funny. Hard to find dinosaur very good condition great collectable can't buy in stores anymore Edited October 19, 2008 by Donut

furious Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 (edited) I am not allowed to start a new topic in this forum so I will ask here since it relates to ebay. How much are the instruction worth for a Black Seas Barracuda. I only have about 70% of the ship and was wondering if including the instructions would be worth it? Thank You. Oh and relating to the post above mine. Ouch! i got one for US$199 only two weeks ago. It was BUy it now and I snapped it up before it had even been up for an hour. Edited November 6, 2008 by furious
Dr. X Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 (edited) Actually, you can get those for free here. And guys, I just found this, which is I think the lowest price for one on ebay. Is this a good deal? Because I've always wanted one... Edited November 6, 2008 by Dr. X
