Good updage mate, but i thisnk at Figurhead isnt nessesery at that ship, its looks alredy fine at me :pir-blush: But if ya like then you can add it, but at me the ship just need weapons, figs and ridding yet. Good job mate, keep it up

Captain Becker

yeah truth be told I'm still debating the figure head as well :pir-sceptic: But honestly the rigging is pretty much done, one or two support lines here and there, probably about an hours work, and pow. So pretty much just guns and figs...and honestly, what doesn't always need those?

Under the two 1x4 flat 1/3rd plates at the front are two hanging 1x2 full bricks which have only the plate keeping em in to close the gap, so yeah those have to stay :pir_laugh2:

I was thinking of a different bow design, that i'm sure you'd agree looks better, and you can include a figurehead (like chewbacca) here's a model I whipped together:

:pir_yoda:

My "unifinished" ship even hade yoda as the figurehead!

Anyway the ship looks very nice now and it does look like it need to be in shpiyard construction, but its looking as good as ever.

you could just use a 1x12, and attach it too a 1x2 using a 1x4 plate. Though I still think you should make the top of the railing black.

in this pic I used 1x16's, but you get the idea:

Hope you'll be finished soon!

But... i think that you should get rid of chewy..... :pir-look:

This is FIRESTOM's ship, not mine. That was a model to show an example of how the 'headrails' ought to be designed. He is (I think) going to be using a knight in black as the figurehead.

Yes, a knight shall be the figurehead for my charger, not Chewbacca :pir-tongue: And in response to the 1x12's trust me, I would if I had any left from making the below decks strip of white on the base of the ship, but I used all my longer ones......so now I made due with the 1x2 stick ons...still looks pretty decent honestly :pir_laugh2:

Awesome ship Fire-storm, very inspirational! :pir-classic:

The rigging looks great.

Oh, how many hull mid-sections are there in your ship, sir?

hmmm... interesting... any pics?

:pir_yoda:

the pics were still included in the original, thats why the top in the front was 1 1x3rd brick taller then normal, but I've shortened the back by a third of a brick.

I really do think it should be at most 4 plates tall.

pics 1 and 2 on page five, at the front right under the 1x4 strip :pir-tongue: you have to look hard cause the image blurred...I was trying to balance on my bro's futon to take it. *getting to the top of the book case is annoying*

futon... lol :pir_laugh2:

Now I see what you mean, but you can still lower the height to four plates...

Hoenstly it looks nice enough for right now, so I'll just leave it as is though :pir_laugh2: Soon I'll get around to the new rigging, some very slight work there, then this beauty is declared done until further notice.

Blah-biddy-blah blah *nitpick* *nitpick* *nitpick* :pir-tongue: Hey, it's your ship man, you shouldn't change it to suit any of us. :pir-wink:

Heh, true, it is my ship, but honestly he was right about the head rails, I'm just pleased with how they look now so I'm keepin em that way :pir_laugh2: I can't wait to get the last rigging on and see this beauty finished, but I won't be able to work on it more till I'm entirely alone again, so who knows when that'll happen :pir-hmpf_bad:

Heya, a small request to any moderator that may be wandering around. Kindly split the old update with the pics of the rigging into a new topic, because this one is getting a bit full. If you could do that it would be grand^^ Also mates, the rigging update should be up soon, then I'm pronouncing her finished until further notice. *the reason the rigging taking so long is I REALLY don't wanna move her and watch her break. :pir_bawling: * The pics I'd like split are on update #53, page 4 :pir-wink:

The ship seems pretty sturdy... I don't see why there should be any problem moving it...

Anywho, how's it looking so far?

:pir_yoda:

She's looking like a queen, but for some wierd reason every time I move her one of the masts pops off and breaks, taking all the others with it.......Thats why I REALLY need the rat bridges>.<

Sounds enticing...

Also, its ratLINES not bridges

:pir_yoda:

P.S. Why's your Username different? Shouldn't it be FIRE-STORM instead of FIRES-STORM?

Yes, I knew it was Firestorm's ship :pir-grin:

I think a black knight would be great!

The reason for no new pics is that while my dad was cleaning of the top of our bookshelf in the living room, he "Cleaned" my micro sd converter along with it, so until I find that I have no way of doing new pictures>.< I'll try and find it as soon as possible, and actually start clearing off the desk to work on the rigging, I'm never moving it into the living room again because last time I did it took about 10 years off my life. Stupid cats.

P.s. Its Always been Fires-storm, not really sure why I made it like that, I guess I just enjoyed the mental image of a living storm of fire controlling itself to consume things...Also it wouldn't happen to have anything to do with why I'm starting to put flame throwers on my ships at ALL :pir-tongue:

P.s.s. I also just got into the habit of calling 'em rat bridges because I saw that rats really REALLY liked them a lot of the time. practically the little buggers main modes of transportation.
