Peppermint_M Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 More images on MOCpages I really wanted to build something, so I went to my collection and searched for an idea. The orange bucket struck a synapsys and thus after about 30 minutes this little creation was finished. Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Perfect for a refuse handling/recycling plant - fantastic yet so simple 'Peppermint_M' ! Maybe a spot/work light on top and a spade/broom combo hanging off it would make it so complete, but in any case great work and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
prateek Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Great use of that bucket! I like that engine on the side too, but what are those orange angled plates supposed to be? Quote
Peppermint_M Posted February 17, 2010 Author Posted February 17, 2010 A quick fix for an ugly front Now I am looking at the photos, I think I should exchange those for a different sort of plate, like I said, I whipped it up in half an hour so I am bound to alter it later. My first plan was a simple 2x6 plate, but I couldn't find any in black or orange (I really should sort my Lego) but I found two 2x3 wedges... So I slapped 'em on and took a photo of it. Modifications coming soon Quote
dr_spock Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Nice MOC. It could go well with underground mining too. Quote
Loganwan Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 The hauler has a good look. I like the sideways engine. It seems like many of these industrial vehicles have strange orientations of parts in order to fit certain specifications. Nice job. I think it might need some lights in the front. It may not be able to only work during the day. :) Quote
Big Cam Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 I love it, the tank tracks look great, ad I like how it is lower, that would make for easier loading. Great job, it really looke like it could fit right in with a regular LEGO set. Quote
Rick Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 Modifications coming soon Agreed, the wedges should go. They look like they're touching the ground anyway. Other than that, nice little hauler! Quote
LuxorV Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 Nice little concept, and nice building, Peppermint_M. While waiting for the modifications, I have one question: is the steering wheel for driving, while the levers are used for moving the tipper? Or are there supposed to be other functions? Just curious Oh, and could you please reduce the pic size to 800 pixels maximum. Thanks! LuxorV Quote
MetroiD Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 I love the smallness of this hauler! It's fun to see construction creations in this size, because they're both cute and they mean business at the same time Quote
