Posted February 17, 201015 yr With the Turbo Tank coming out this summer it gave me the idea to build a BARC speeder, so here it is. Main pic. The nose. The back. The side. The bottom. Next to the TLC one. My MOC is just a few studs longer.
February 17, 201015 yr ...Next to the TLC one. My MOC is just a few studs longer... And undeniably better! That is one masterpiece, even if it isn't the most complex. Best BARC I've seen.
February 17, 201015 yr Your speeder has a better rear section on it, a like more true to shape I think. Anyway great work '501st Commando' and I'm a conformist! !
February 18, 201015 yr You have used some really different techniques on the speeder but I think a bit of dark red could make it a whole lot better. Keep up the good work!
February 18, 201015 yr A fantastic BARC 501st Commando! You have used some really nice techniques there! I like how you've put the battle droid arms as foot holds when the trooper gets down. The rear is really nice. but I think a bit of dark red could make it a whole lot better. Agreed! CommanderFox
February 18, 201015 yr Author Thanks for the comments everyone. I would have added more dark red, but I didn't have any 1x1 dark red tiles to put dark red where needed.
February 19, 201015 yr Much much better - they should give you a job!! haha yours looks like its got proper body work.
February 19, 201015 yr Not bad, it reminds me of a speeder bike mixed with a Freeco speeder, and Dooku's speeder. Very cool.
February 21, 201015 yr Hello! A pretty nice speeder bike. However, I am not so fond of the clip/clip-connections you used by cklicking a clip plate into a clip tile. I would have used the relatively new 1x2 plate with handle. Cheers, ~ Christopher
February 21, 201015 yr Looks very nice, though the 2x1 tiles for the fins seem a little plain to me, maybe those would look better with the printed tiles from the MINI X-Wing (in case you have that). Other than that, great!
February 25, 201015 yr I think your speeder looks fantastic. I like seeing these built with fairly generic pieces so you could build up an army of them without having to buy a lot of specific sets. Nice work.
