SavaTheAggie Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Full Gallery Turn your wayback machine dial back to 2004, to when this MOC was new. This is the Temple of Formeathan, a MOC I built for my online illustrated story, The Chronicles of Ikros. I was going to build a large mountain for it to sit upon, but I've decided to go another route and reclaim the parts. Modeled in the style of a Greek Temple, the Temple of Formeathan was built in honor of the dragon Formeathan the Stormbringer, another MOC of mine, after his death in my story. The main statue upon the roof is Garalt, the main character of the story, who reawakened Formeathan and helped defeat his evil sister, Tel'Karak Zrahl. --Tony Quote
Big Cam Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 That's a very impressive model. It looks great, just like one of the sets LEGO sold, like the empire state building one. Quote
Rick Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Great, I especially like the attention spent on the interior and the ceiling. Quote
Fugazi Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 This is a beautiful temple, really impressive! I would love to see such a creation in a landscaped module. Now could you just rebuild it in tan? Quote
Alex the Great Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Very well done, I saw it at Classic-Castle, but was to lazy to comment at the time. I really love those pillars, and the interiors floor is great. Quote
John31388 Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Wow great job, I can tell you put a lot of time and heart in to this to make it look great Quote
NorthernKnight Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 That is a really nice temple. Very nice proportions. I would love to see it fully equipped with surrounding terrain and minifigs. Quote
Siegfried Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 That's really beautiful. To my embarrassment I didn't know you were doing a story; I'll give it a look! EDIT: 2005? Was that the last time you worked on it? If so, it sounds like my neglected comic! Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 I'm only now puting my eyes back in my head ...........OMG ! That is too great - too beautiful - too awesome ! 'SavaTheAggie' you are a genius ! I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Raven Brickroft Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Awesome temple. Very grand(?). I misread the title as The Temple of "Four MEAT HAM" That would've been delicious. Quote
Legostein Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Hello! That's a great piece of architecture! I am mostly impressed by the clever idea to create 3-stud-wide columns. They're looking great and the ornamentation all around the building are fantastic. Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
RoryoCox Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Your temple of Formeathan is amazing. Could you post some more pictures of it e.g. close-ups The design and colours of your temple MOC is really impressive. Quote

Delta 38 Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Looks great. Didn't expect interior details, though, the outside is good enough. I like the statues. Quote
CommanderFox Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Very impressive Model SavaTheAggie! The outside is excellent, I love all the little collums, and the grey figs. The interrior is very impressive, I like the chequered floor and the little pond with the fountain. The dragon is cool, nice job with it! CommanderFox Quote
