Wait that was an actual movie?

I thought it was a joke making fun of Lautner! :head_back:

I just watched a film called Escape From Sobibor, its a brilliant film set in WW2 and revolves around a Jewish Death Camp (Sobibor) and how the biggest revolt and escape took place. It is based on a true story and once you get past the first 32 seconds you realise how amazing the film is. I dont want to give out to much information, because I would rather you all went and watched it so heres a little synopsis from Wikipedia.

I watched this on your recommendation.

I don't know how true to history it was, but being at least based on a true story was enough to make me tense. My hand was shaking near the end. I am not like that for fictional movies. I thought the final scenes were a bit poorly done, people falling over before the machine gun had reached them in the line and so on.

A Christmas Story. Funny  "you'll shoot your eye out" haha.

The Dark Knight. Never seen it before, but now it might be my favorite movie ever.

MI4, good movie all in all, and glad to see Ving Rhames return in the end.

The last movie I watched as Cars 2, on Christmas Day. Great movie.

The Muppet's Christmas Carol 12/10

Literally the greatest Christmas film ever made.

Agreed. I love the songs in it as well.

I watched Sherlock Holmes: A game of Shadows a couple of days ago. Much better than the first one. Some nice action scenes and I liked the small details that you don't notice. Good film, it was entertaining. Plus the Mutitions factory is actually the Railway Centre Museum in the town in which I live (Only the bit that the characters are in, the rest is just greenscreen). :sweet: It's funny watching the film, I felt like going down there and checking the Steam Locomotives for bullet holes!

Count me in on that one!

We need a Muppets fan thread, the Bronies got one so why can't we?

I think theirs got locked. But ours are Muppets for crying out loud!

Still not as bad as twilight.

I just watched Sherlock Holmes 2. Definitely enjoyable and well worth the money. I love how they did the action sequences and the ending was amazing! :sweet:

It's definitely not a new movie, but the last movie I watched was Big Trouble in Little China. It was pretty corny, but overall a fun movie. 8/10

Because we actually change our avatars to the things we're fans of.

And yes, our thread was locked.

Still not as bad as twilight.

Truer words were never spoken.

Glad you somewhat enjoyed it!

Recently I also watched:

Sanctum-Not sure what to think, some parts were good and some were shit.

Van Helsing-Old but still amazing, nothing like the lovey dovey vampire films today.

Gullivers Travels-Not the type of film I normally watch, but surprisingly good.

Easy A-Theres not many films out there about Wanna be sluts but this was a really great film.

Its a boy girl thing- A typical body switch film but it wasnt as bad as you would think. Its on Iplayer at the moment if anyone is interested.

Rugrats In Paris

The Wild Thornberry's Movie-Not as good as the Rugrats go wild, but was nice to relive my childhood in this and the rugrats movies.

Defiance-Reccomended by a friend and starring Danial Craig, interesting film but could have done with more detailed story about the others.

Evita-Starring Madonna and music by Lloyd Webber, a sensational film/musical.

Escape from Sobibor-Like I said, a brilliant film and if you like that tense feeling and to really get into a film, then go check this one out.

A bunch of Christmas movies. Most of them were forgettable. The good ones were Jim Carrey in The Grinch and there's a Disney CG Christmas cartoon called Prep and Landing which are pretty clever.

<<<<< Like this?

<<<<< Like this?

Haha.

Telemovie: new Sherlock (BBC). Clever. Now to wait for new Robert Downey Jr movie version to come out here.

<<<<< Or this!

"Mee-meme-mee-me-me"

Behold! Beaker!

Artanis I, keep a look out for my hometown if you see A Game Of Shadows!

Hanna. Excellent film, though predictable. I enjoyed it.

Hobo with a Shotgun. Well, title speaks for itself doesn't it?

I saw "Mr Popper's Penguins" yesterday, a comedy with Jim Carrey. Not the best Jim Carrey's movie I saw, but a good movie yet. I made me think about Happy Feet in fact

I particularly appreciated the New York winter background - and even better in high-definition.
