Milan Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 Anaconda, with Jennifer Lopez and Ice Cube. I like the Tagline: You can't scream if you can't breathe Film crew is in the Amazon river trying to find the lost tribe, they are helping fisherman with broken boat, who is going to take them as hostages, and use their boat as a giant snake hunting vessel. But giant snake is going to fight back. Personally, I like this movie only because I like the snakes...acting is very bad, effects are nice, story is simple and not so convincing. I would rate this movie 4/10 Quote
Milan Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Red Corner, 1997 with Richard Gere, An American attorney on business in China, is on trial for murder, which apparently he did in a hotel room, young daughter of an Chinese general is killed, and Gere is accused. Hes only chance to prove his innocence in a tight Chinese court is a young female lawyer. Great movie, with nice twists and good acting. 7/10 Quote
RocketClone Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 Yesterday Transformers Revenge of the fallen. Today right now Top Gun Quote
Big Cam Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 I recently watched the last 3 Harry potter movies. IK'm getting ready for the 6th coming out on DVD in a month or so. Quote
RileyC Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 I watched Tropic thunder on my ipod touch a few days ago. Getting ready for the bob dylan movie I recorded on my sky. Its so long Quote
olla86 Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Yesterday I reviewed “Mr. and Ms. Smith”. I like Brad Pitt! Quote
Milan Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 I watched Lord of the Rings, for the fifth time... I just had to see the movie on a new TV set! Quote
Oky Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 Robert Zemecki's A Christmas Carol (in 2D) I thought it was very well done movie. The visuals were amazing and Carrey's acting was pretty good! But it was done scarier than it needed to be. I would definitely NOT take any kids into this movie. If you're looking for a heart-warming Christmas movie, this is not the movie for you. I like it because it offers a more serious take on Dickens' story. Some segments could have been shorter, but overall it was pretty good. Quote
Corvus Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 The Men Who Stare At Goats Absolutely hilarious movie. There were a lot more Jedi references than I was expecting. "Some say their helicopter crashed, but that's what happens when you try to fly a helicopter while tripping on acid." Quote
The Crazy One Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 Just saw ' The Men Who Stare at Goats ' , ' Fantastic Mr Fox ' and '' 9 ' all in one week. All great films. Quote
simonjedi Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Forgetting Sarah Marshall 7.5/10 Better than i was expecting, Kirsten Bell and Mila Kunis Babylon 5: The Lost Tales 6/10 Its a decent 'Episode' of Babylon 5 but the lack of budget and only a few recognisable locations and characters are problems. Milan Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 James Bond, THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS! As a big fan of James Bond franchise, I can't objectively judge this movie, but I will say it is as good as any James Bond, but bot the best one! Quote
Milan Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 IMPACT! Science fiction, long movie! It combines the best from Armageddon and Deep Impact. Basically, meteor shower somehow changed the moon's trajectory and it is about to hit the Earth. I enjoyed in it, together with my friends, if you like SF, go for it! Also, it has some very cool ideas how to stop the moon to crash into the earth! My rate: 7/10 Quote
Batbrick Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 James Bond, THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS!As a big fan of James Bond franchise, I can't objectively judge this movie, but I will say it is as good as any James Bond, but bot the best one! I love that film! I'm a huge James Bond fan too, and I think Timothy Dalton is very underrated. Living Daylights also has one of the very best villain schemes and my favourite Bond girl, which I think for some reason just comes down to that awesome fake accent and that swishy hair...it's just so...swishy... Anyhoo, watched The Emperor's New Groove moments ago, just as hilarious as before, and totally uproots and subverts so many Disney movie cliches. I really love that self aware, fourth wall breaking and lampshading humour. Swishy Hair Away! Quote
Milan Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 State Of Play Russell Crowe, Ben Affleck. A tense thriller, good movie, has received some very nice critics! Crowe works as a reporter, together with young female reporter, to try to solve the murder of a young girl, which had affair with a congressman (Affleck) My rate 6/10 Quote
Milan Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Scream 1 & 2 I watched these two movies before, and once again today. My advice...if you watched "Scary movie", don't watch "Scream", it will ruin it! Quote
user Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 I watched 2012 that was an absolutely awesome movie with great special effects! Quote
Batbrick Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 I watched 2012, movie with great special effects! Fixed for you. Batbrick Away! Quote
zouave Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 I watched Grave of the Fireflies. Its a great but sad movie. I'm normally not an anime fan but lately I've been watching alot of Studio Ghibli. Quote
5150 Lego Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Fixed for you.Batbrick Away! .... 2012 was a great movie. Quote
Luke McAwesome Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 I watched Scream with my friend. Hilarious in some parts. I liked that they made everything seem like they knew they were in a movie, such as knowing the killer wasn't dead, and that he'd come back to wreak havoc on them, until what's-her-face shoots him again. Not so scary, either, sadly. But all in all, a good late-night, Saturday night horror movie. It was also a mystery, and not just an "Okay, I'll just kill everyone, even though they know who I am" movie. You really have to think through this one. They make everyone a suspect, but you don't find out who the killer s is /are until the end. They really are the last people you would expect. One of them actually gets caught, but somehow manages to weasel himself to freedom. Quote
user Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Fixed for you.Batbrick Away! I don't get it. Quote
Luke McAwesome Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 I don't get it. He changed it to say that it had good special effects, but it wasn't a good movie. Basically, what he was saying was that the only good thing about it was the special effects. Quote
Oreo Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 The last movie I watched was...... Lemme think now....... "The Endurance" a documentary on Shackleton and the expedition into the Polar regions. Kinda depressing, but inspiring. Quote
