Star Wars: a new hope. The best star wars movie in my opinion and its cool how you can just watch it by itself and dont have to watch any of the others in the trilogy.

I know it isn't a movie, but I finally finished watching the animated version of Death Note. Very cool.

The Silence of the Lambs. (Of course. ) Buffalo Bill's dance was.... Strange at the very least.

"Wanted" staring Angelina Jolie, And some other guy who's name I can't remember.

It was amazing, There's some nice twists along the way too.

I don't know about that but it is my favorite time travel movie. Last movie I saw was Forrest Gump it was the first time I'd seen it.

I agree, Some bits were overdone with the gore but there are some really great scenes like the one where he comes back after unleashing the rats and just runs through the whole building using whatever gun he can get his hands on.

I like the ending... "So what the f@%* have you done today?"

I just saw GI Joe Rise of Cobra for the first time, I must say the ending or the last 20 minutes caught me by surprise.

Good movie.

Terminator Salvation: 4.5/10

Good Ideas badly executed.

The future war bits in the good terminator films (1+2)/SCC/Games are my favourite parts of the terminator series, so i was looking forward to this film.

Things i like:

• The setting (i.e its early in the war prototype terminators, humans have aircraft ect)
  
• John connor being a commander and not head of the resistance
  
• The arnie cameo
• how john connor got his badass scar that was seen in T2
  
• The look of the T600
  

Things i don't:

• Moto terminators and the giant mecha terminator thing
  
• John connors batman voice
  
• The big twist being spoilt in the trailer
  
• Skynet HQ
  

Also McG is an utterly ridiculous name for a director.

I watched "Se7en" last night. I believe it was the 5th or 6th time.

Excellent movie and easily in my all-time top five.

Last night I watched the movie Loser on T.V. Its an ok movie.

Watched Back to the Future recently, a wonderfully classic Sci-fi comedy film with some very classic bits, such as the flux capacitor and time traveling Delorean. My favourite character is Doc. Emmet Brown, simply for the hilariously manic dialog he spouts as he chews on the scenery. Plus, it helps that he's voiced by Christopher Lloyd.

Also, finally watched Terminator 2: Judgement Day! Absolutely flipping fantastic to the eleventh degree, a vast improvement over the first one which is great on its own. I'm totally ignoring any more sequels though as they really undermine the message of this one. The effects were brilliant on the liquid Terminator, helped strangely by the first effects shot looking rather unconvincing, with the rest being wonderful. The development of the T-800 was great, as it played against my expectations by not having him become "human" or experience emotions, but simply respect and understand them, which was clever and not cheap like it could've been if it went the other way.

I saw the horror/thriller 1408, about a man who stays in 'haunted' hotels, houses etc. and writes books about them. Then he finds a hotel room that's the real deal, and, well...

Based on the Stephen King book. Unfortunately I got the version with the original, 'alternate' ending. I'd have preferred the other, but oh well.

I also saw Planet Terror, unusual, but enjoyable. But that's Quentin Tarantino for you. Loved the classic style of it.

Hmm... a lot of others too, saw Shaun of the Dead and Snatch again. Oh yes, Crank (2): High Voltage. Silent Hill - loved it. Disney's Up.

Also, not a movie, but I watched all 4 seasons of Dexter, which I loved, but the ending was quite shocking. And now I have to wait a year 'till I can see the conclusion to this.

And before you ask, yes, I did have to bold all those movie (and the one T.V. series) names.

Deck the Halls - Matthew Broderick and Danny DeVito? Sounds to me like the perfect combonation for a comedy movie, even for Christmas! A good movie, funny and the humor is original, and the plot's not just another remake. I reccomend this movie this time of the year, it's enjoyable to watch.

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

Going with striker's holiday spirit I just recently watched A christmas story. That movie is so funny. If you haven't seen it yet rent or buy now. All I can say is Lego must be Italian.

Just got back from Avatar 3D

OMG. OMG! OMG!!! James Cameron has made, without a doubt, another fantastic cinematic masterpiece! The 3D adds just the right touch of realism to a fantastic script, with amazing performances. Action, comedy, romance and tragedy collide in my fav movie of the year, if not my fave movie since 2003 (LOtR still is my fave movie epic of the decade ). At three hours long, it was a marathon for me, but an absolutely enjoyable one. Oh, and Sam Worthington is now the most badass person alive (F%$k you, Chuck), after this and his stunning performance in T4.

Go see it. You owe it to your senses after seeing New Moon trailers for the last two months. It'll make it all...fade away.
