I think Lost is real crap

Ouch, that hurt my heart! The only reason I watch TV pretty much! 8-|

You seem to hate the director, but you forget that a director and a script are two different things- a bad script in a good directors hands doesnt necessarily become good, while a good script (Lost) is good in a good director's hands. I must agree though, all other things except Lost has been crap.

"Judge me by my script do you?" *yoda*

Movie seen:

Richard III (Ian McKellen version)- great remake of the Shakespeare play, set in a fascist england in the 30's. Lots of geographical "re-placing" but the whole "alternate universe" feeling is excellent.

I watched last night the entire Star Wars Original Trilogy (unfortunatly it was the 2005 version full of crap >:-( ).

It was such a long tilme since I saw the entire trilogy in one shot !! I really understand why these are in my favorite movies of all time *sweet*

The only problem is that, at the end, you get easilly annoyed (stupid word language filter :-D ) by TLC for their lack of production of certain sets/MFs you just saw a few moments back X-D :-P

Oh boy, those movies really revolutionised Science fiction forever !!

Watch on !!

The Aviator.

Not sure what to say. Well performed and well made. Not completely historical though.

I saw it in cinema when it was out here in Germany. I think the movie has really interesting aspects, but I do not know how to categorize it for myself!

i just saw "the Poseidon adventure" of 1972 with Gene Hackman and Leslie Nielsen. i read yesterday that a remake of the film will be released in summer, so i thought to take a look at the old one... I'd say it's pretty crappy. thank god some one tells you the ship is lying upside down or you simply wouldn't know that... And from that point on, you get a "Titanic" situation: people are trying to find a way out. Nothing more, nothing less... but without the special effects of "titanic"... on the other hand, there's nothing really irritating, it may even be entertaining, but in the end... we've seen it all before...

I just came out of the Da Vinci Code and I must admit I loved it (unlike the vast majority of critics !! Burn those infidels, for they are no true believers X-D ).

I thought the "international" cast was fantastic (seeing Ian made me realise how much his character is close to Magneto !! "we are in a middle of a war..." I was the only one to laugh at that hehe). And NO this is NOT a spoiler because its in the trailer !!

I was quite surprise with the "French" cast: both Jean Reno and Audrey Tautou are so annoying me !! I thought they were good here !!

I have a question for you guys: is the French dialogues subtitled ?? In France they did not subtitled the French dialogues hehe !!

Now I will keep searching MY grail !!

Search On !!

Actually, they revolitionized Space Opera which is the proper term (I think) for movies like that. But GL did such a good job we can call is Sci-fi anyway *sweet*

I agree with the Lego MF thing, when I saw ROTJ for the 4 th time a few months ago I REALLY wanted a Mon Calamari UCS Cruiser. :-(

Anyway...

Last movie I saw was the Chronicles of Narnia and I watched it in our math class because our teacher had nothing better for us to do (seriously.) I loved it, just like I did the time before that and the time before that... :-D

Last night I saw a really bad movie: the remake of the Omen

I'll use one smiley: :-X

This movie lacks everything compared to the brilliant Omen masterpiece: the kid is just bad (the original kid - Harvey Stephans was chilling blood), the atmosphere is absent, and the actors are far from the original casting: Liev Schrieber is NO Gregory Peck :-|

So stay away from that horrendous movie !!

Hollywood, you need to stop NOW the crappy remakes of Fantastic Movies >:-(

*yoda*

Indeed Kim, they (whoever that is :-| ) massacred the Fantastic Carpenter's Classic FOG and made a crappy remake with that annoying blonde who stars in Lost :-X

The Da Vinci Code was alright in my opinion, but really the story was TOO different, and really it was changed more than necessary. Last film I watched though was Little Nicky, a favourite of mine, haha I really recomend it for a laugh!

I have seen "The DaVinci Code" last night! I do not know the novel until now, but IMO the movie is really good! And very very many nice actors! *y*

I need to see The Da Vinci Code again, I was comparing it too much to the book. It was completely rewritten for the film version, and I had only finished the book the morning of the day I saw the film. So I obviously had the book in my mind. I think I'd appreciate it more if I thought of it as a separate thing.
