Ultron Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 I saw The Hobbit: The Battle of The Five Armies. Wouldn't recommend it unless for some reason you liked the other hobbit atrocities or like getting splitting headaches from overused and awful CGI. Just read the book instead. Quote
Jedi-Bendu Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 The Aristocats...with my family. :) Quote
Tariq j Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 I saw the original 1987 Robocop on Netflix. A great film on almost every level. Quote
Borador Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Dumb and Dumber To. Hysterical, a perfect sequel. 14/10 Quote
Tariq j Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Watched Goldfinger, definitely one of the best James Bond Films. Quote
Tarfful Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 (edited) Watched Goldfinger, definitely one of the best James Bond Films. most definantly.I'm currently watching Pacific Rim.. just some good ol' fashioned behemoth vs. mechanical warrior fun. |Tarfful Edited December 23, 2014 by Tarfful Quote
BrickTamland Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Locke. Interesting premise, Tom Hardy is fantastic, overall very solid film. Quote
Im a brickmaster. Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 47 Ronin. A excellent, severely under rated movie. I absoulty love feudal Japan ninja samurai stuff anyway, the architecture, the lore, everything. But ah, an awesome kickass movie! Quote
AyliffeMakit Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Just watched "Wallace and Gromit: The curse of the Were-Rabbit" after not seeing it for about 3 years. Still pretty damn great, but there's a lot more innuendos than I thought there were last time... Quote
Tariq j Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 Happy Christmas! Watched alot of things today. Wallace and Gromit A Grand Day Out (Not really a movie though) Puss in Boots Home Alone 2 Quote
Godtshep Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Watched Frozen. Not a fan, but the rest of the family enjoyed it. Quote
montgocloud Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 I got Jodorowsky's Dune, a documentary centering on the "best film never made," for Christmas. It's endlessly fascinating. If you have any sort of love for movies, science fiction especially, then I wholeheartedly reccomend it. It poses an excellent question: when does something stop becoming an industry and start becoming art? Quote
Sir_Basil_Ashton Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 Battle of the Five Armies with the kids. My son particularly loved the movie. Quote
Rusty84 Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 The last movie we watched together as a family was Penguins of Madagascar. I would give it a rating of 3.5/5.. but the kids loved it too much. They were in splits throughout; I have to admit that the gags were hilarious. Quote
Sir_Basil_Ashton Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Just watched Divergent with the family. Quote
Mazin Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Once upon a crime. With Belushi, Candy and Richard Lewis Quote
Lego Spy Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Saw The Battle of Five Armies today. I saw someone said something along the lines of "first half was good, second half wasn't as good", and I completely agree. It seems like the battle scenes started to drag on, and on. And then the deaths of Fili, Kili, and Thorin seemed like almost an afterthought. Overall though, it was a pretty good movie, so I'd give it a 4/5. Quote
Cy_Bored1337 Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 (edited) The last movie i saw was The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies. It was fun and all but the battle took to long so i will give it a 4/5 also. Edited December 30, 2014 by Cy_Bored1337 Quote
Jedi-Bendu Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Hobbit: BofA (at the cinema) At home I popped in the DVDs/BRs of Inception (I still think it's one of the 5 best movies of the last 10 years) and The Hobbit: AUJ. Next up is The Hobbit: DOS once again. Quote
Tariq j Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Watched Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb. Quote
Tariq j Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Saw Die Another Day yesterday evening. I know this film has been bashed a bit by critics for its poor use of CGI and special effects, but I've always enjoyed watching this film. Quote
