Any particular reason you hated it? I thought it was one of the more well-made sci fi films of the past decade.

Mainly the story and characters. I didn't care for both. Also, I didn't like the looks of the movie; art direction, sets......

And Gordon-Levitt (a good actor btw) looked ridiculous in that make-up!

No, definately not my thing.

Jurassic World. It was good, but kinda what you expected from the movie to be honest. No surprises or anything. Not better than the first

Agreed. I knew it couldn't match the original.....but it definitely was better than the second or third lol. And that last fight scene was pretty awesome.

last movie would be that new jurassic world movie. Main motive for going was i knew we'd hit walmart afterwards and i wanted to hunt for simspon figures. I didn't really care for the movie at all. I enjoyed the jurassic park movies but JW is kind of lame. They focused WAY to much on special effects and not enough on a good story line. It was like i was watching the lego movie all over again! It was a 2 hour movie but it felt like i was trapped in the theater for 4 hours! i got up to go make a head call twice during the movie, main motive was so i wouldn't fall asleep from boredom or be tempted to pull out my XL and start playing super mario land 2.

I also watched the French film Jean De Florette the other day. It was a little slow paced and redundant at the beginning, but the plot was intriguing and the cinematography was beautiful for a film from the 80s. I give it a 9.5/10 and a high recommendation.

I finally got around to watching the second half of this film (yes, people other than Peter Jackson can make multi-part films ), Manon des Sources, within the past week. It's an excellent conclusion to the first part, even though that even wrapped up quite nicely. Not as good as the first part story wise, but still a nice film (even if some parts were just plain odd *huh*). 8/10

Jurassic World- it was AH-mazing! It had the same feel as Jurassic Park, the suspense, the lurking dinosaur. Was hoping for a cameo from one or more of the big 3 from the original or a "clever girl"...

I also saw Jurassic World. Man was it terrifying! Finally we get a sequel that lives up to the original. I thought it was very well done, even if some parts of it seemed forced. It's certainly not as magical as the original film, but it's a great film nonetheless. 9.5/10

Jurassic World- Overall, I found it to be decent. I don't think it's possible to match the magic or sense discovery of the first one. I thought the first part of the movie was kind of boring and the commercialism was too forced (both the theme and the real life brands throughout the film.)

No Country for Old Men- Partly depressing, partly captivating. One of my faves.

Also seen Inside Out. Twice... It was AMAZING! The short "Lava" before the movie was also really good.

First time I go to the movies two times in a week to see the same movie!.. Pixar conquered my heart long ago, but I have to say this one ranks high in my animation hall of fame. Did see some confused kids, but ones who also liked it. Lot of tears in the theater!

My experience through the movie was something like that: :classic::sweet::grin::laugh::cry_sad::tongue::laugh::look::cry_sad::cry_sad::cry_sad::laugh::wub::thumbup: The End.

Inside Out. Very clever film and while I enjoyed it, I can tell that for me personally, I'll have to watch it multiple times to get a better liking for it. I was that way with Fantastic Mr. Fox at first.
