YellowCorvette Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 (edited) Just rewatch The Lego Movie. Not that bad,but it's a overrated movie. Edited September 3, 2015 by ArmstrongYong Quote
rodiziorobs Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 The new Mission Impossible (Rogue Nation). I realized about two-thirds through that either I didn't know what the plot was, or it didn't really have one. Yet the final act pulled it all together well, and plotless or not it was quite fun. Almost as much as MI:4. Quote
Hemlock Falls Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 What Happened Miss Simone, a documentary about Nina Simone on Netflix Quote
fred67 Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 I watched two movies today - "Barely Lethal," a fairly dumb comedy about young girls being trained special agents for the U.S. government, and one fakes her death so she can have a "normal" high school experience. The other was called "The Legend of Longwood," a likable drama/fantasy about a girl who gets caught up in a 300 year old mystery/curse involving the "Black Knight," whose appearance means bad things. They were both OK, suitable for watching with my daughter while we worked on building the Kwik-E-Mart. Quote
Godtshep Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Collateral; a crime thriller starring Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx. Great performances and beautifully shot. 9/10 The Flesh and Blood Show: Brainless horror film from the 1970's. Incredibly boring and crass. 1.5/10 Quote
MontyPython Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Cockneys vs. Zombies. Unusual but funny! Quote
rodiziorobs Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Breakfast at Tiffany's. I don't see what all the fuss is about, it was a pretty terrible movie. Quote
fred67 Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 While finishing off Kwik-E-Mart: Master and Commander: Far Side of the World - great movie. Then Independence Day was on TV, followed by Cast Away. Yes, it took me that long to build Kwik-E-Mart (in fact, I'd started the day before). Quote
Kintobor Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 Watched Paddington a day or two ago and was genuinely surprised. Paddington was a good family film with some excellent performances. That and the effects on Paddington himself are very good. All in all it was worth watching. I'd recommend it. Quote
YellowCorvette Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Just rewatch Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. A impressive movie even for today movie standard. Quote
Hemlock Falls Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 My fiancee has never seen Star Wars. We bought eps 4-6 and have been warming her up for The Force Awakens Quote
dr_spock Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Maleficent. It was ok. Kind of dark. Quote
Boettner Builds Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Finished the Indiana jones trilogy yesterday (newest one doesn't count) I just got it on blu-Ray. Two things I learned: my life sucks and Indiana jones is the greatest man that ever lived! Quote
Leo604 Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Black Mass in theatres last night; Johnny Depp's performance was by far the most outstanding aspect. Quote

Vindicare Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 The Scorch Trials Oof...it was...bad. Real, real bad(if you've read the book). I tried enjoying it, but I kept saying, "WHAT?!" in my head at everything wrong...very disappointing. Quote
Im a brickmaster. Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 (edited) The Scorch Trials Oof...it was...bad. Real, real bad(if you've read the book). I tried enjoying it, but I kept saying, "WHAT?!" in my head at everything wrong...very disappointing. Yeaaaah, I loved the books, watched the trailer and went " I don't even recognize it!" The last movie I seen in theaters was The man from UNCLE, and man was it great. Start to finish, it was just awesome! Great soundtrack, great action/humor, just wow. Recommended fo soh. EDIT: HOLY CRAP IM A COUNT! Edited September 23, 2015 by Im a brickmaster. Quote
dr_spock Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 The Incredibles. It's still fun to watch after all these years. "NO CAPES!" Quote
BrickTamland Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Terminator: Genisys, ignoring my love for T1 this movie suffered from a misplaced comedic tone (that misses the mark), poor chemistry between leads, and a major twist revealed prerelease (I tryed to avoid it but the poster in the theater spoiled it) that steals any bite from the climax. Taking into consideration T1 however the casting was poor, and for the most part Alan Taylor's movie fails to realize the themes, tone, and story, that makes the first 2 movies classic. All in all I didn't hate it, just unsurprisingly a missed opportunity. Quote
Vindicare Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 (edited) Attack on Titan(live action)- it was pretty good, started off a bit slow. The Titans looked good, they did an awesome job with Titan Eren. Story is a bit different from the anime. Edited October 2, 2015 by Legocrazy81 Quote
YellowCorvette Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Bionicle: The Legend Reborn. A very boring movie, I think. Quote
