Khorne Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 the good old british italian job!(not that crappy american remake!) I like the American one better, doesn't have that crappy ending ;-) . I saw Hooligans on tv. I love this movie, not my favorite movie but I still think it's great. Another movie I saw today was Lord of War. It's a bit boring for my liking, but still had some nice stuff. Did anyone see 'Letters from Iwo Jima' yet? I'd love to see it, but they're only showing it in Brussels :'-( . Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted February 22, 2007 Eurobricks Emperor Posted February 22, 2007 The last movie I watched was North Country. This was one of the best movies I saw in a long time. Very emotional and touching story and great acting. Quote
Aredhel Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Apo and I just returned from "Pan's Labyrinth"- ... what to say: Good movie, few parts VERY brutal and bloody and the fantasy part well made and really nice. All in all a good movie! -Aredhel Quote
Capn Kirk 911 Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 The last movie I watched was Deep Blue Sea. It was pretty cheesy, in on part a shark jump out the water onto land like 5 feet and at Sammuel L. Jackson (My dream finnally caame true). Than at the end the sharks were ripping people in half with one bite but they couldn'ty kill one of the characters they could only bite his legs and swim around in circles! :-D Has any one else seen that movie! Quote
Lord Thrawn Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 I saw Revenge of the Sith again yesterday. It's a very good film. I also watched Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker which was also awesome because I can't get enough of Batman Beyond. Quote
dillthepill Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 In theaters? "Night at the Museum" It's a hilarious movie. Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 The Big Lebowski. Perfect while drinking a couple of beers with friends. Quote
El Bucanero Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 I recently saw Jaws II... The shark was sooo fake... Have a nice day, Mr Tiber Quote
xwingyoda Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 I went to see Ghost Rider and I really enjoyed it ;-) Miss Mendez is as hot as ever *wub* and the movie i very pleasant with some great Cage catch phrases :-P + cool special effects !! Back to Hell !! *yoda* Quote
Scouty Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 Pan's Labyrinth ____Very interesting. It has a very nice plot. It was played by [the actors] very well. For anyone not knowing when this film took place~~~~~~~Was during the Spanish Revolution, I'd say between 1934-1939 when Nazi Germany was terrible to the Spanish, but they're not in there anyway. Back to the story. It was quite interesting[and was in spanish, I knew some of the words X-D ]. It was a bit confusing and you would have to piece them together yourself. I give Pan's Labyrinth a 4/5. It'll creep, enjoy, and then creep you out. SPOILERS!!!! [Too many major characters die] End Spoilerzz! Quote

vahkimetru Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 Armageddon-Really cool, but it was kind of chilling how the WTC and some other skyscrapers were ripped apart... Ghoust Rider-This was awesome! I loved the acting, though Nicholas Cage looked kind of out of place with Johnny Blaze's girlfreind, he looked too old. *n* Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 Casino Royale. One of the better Bond movies. Refreshingly good! Quote
Lord Thrawn Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 I watched Hot Fuzz. And man, was I surprised. This film starts extremely well, then dries up for a while and becomes very Midsommer Murders-y (for those who know it's terror) because of the speed it chugs at. The last half an hour or so makes up for it all though. Man, I really wasn't expecting what happened. It was fantastic. Best action movie ever. Quote
Scouty Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 When I remember right it plays in Spain in the year 1944. Does it say a date? I unfortunately missed some of the beginning. Anyway, I last saw some of a World War II Documentory. Interesting and learning stuff. Quote
Aredhel Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 I saw Ghost Rider yesterday! The effects were ok, but with the dialogs and the whole not existing story.. :-/ not a very good movie. -Aredhel Quote
picklesdynasty Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 saw 300 today, best 4 bucks I ever spent. not recommended for children, but definatley for adults. :Sparta: Quote
Wolf04 Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 Madness? This is SPARTA!!! X-D Has anyone seen 300 yet? I just watched it today (opening day) and I must say, the movie was just too sweet. We wanted to see it in the IMAX but it was all sold out so we bought a normal one two hours before the movie started. One hour before it, people started lining up and so did we. I must say, this movie exceeded all expectations and the trailers do not do justice. I mean, I cannot explain the pure awesomeness of the movie. Apparently, it received a lot of bad reviews but critics don't know what they're talking about. Go see this movie...now! Pay and buy the ticket because it will be worth it! Oh, by the way, I also saw Ghost Rider but it was pure garbage last week but it's pure garbage compared to 300. Quote
Khorne Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 Just came back from 300. Like wolf04 said, this movie rocks! I absolutely love the fighting scenes, awesomely performed. It was a little bit weird at times with all the freaky people, but all in all it was great!! Go see it right now!! Quote
Scouty Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 I watched Flags of Our Fathers (DVD). I think it is a very good movie. Very bloody. Very moving. A Recommend watch! Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 I saw the other day a complete insane movie called Hyper Tension G, what a psychopath movie that Hollywood need to produce more often :-D Jason Statham, a hitman, wakes up and learns he has been poisoned during his sleep !! The only way for him NOT to die is by keeping his adrenaline level really high !! Its hilarious (you see him make love to his girl in the middle of daylight in Chinatown screeming "I am alive !!" :-D ) and very pushy !! Really a great movie *y* *y* *yoda* Quote
Mr Hobbles Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Just watched Casino Royale, mainly because I'd just bought it on DVD. Before that, I saw Naked Gun, which I haven't seen in years. Brilliant movie. Also I think I'm going to see Hot Fuzz for the third time, I love this movie. It gets funnier everytime I watch it! Quote
Aredhel Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Just watching V for Vendetta again!!! Love that movie! -Aredhel Quote
Asuka Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 The Science of Sleep by Michel Gondry ( the one with that LEGO music video, you remember?). A very wonderful and truly romantic movie. *y* Pan Quote
