Just watched the Pacifier on the English tv channal. *y*

The plot involves the Aztecs (or mayans) building an under ground city of gold in South Dakota. Calvin Coolidge discovered it, and commisioned Mount Rushmore to be built over it. *wacko*

It was the Olmec people, actually. I wish the film had explained how they got so far north, that could have been interesting......

And just for the record, Queen Victoria did not sponsor the Confederate States in the hopes of weakening America through it's division or any other reason, for that matter. :-/

I've all ready seen this movie a few times but just felt like watching it today because it's just so awesome.

Favorite line...

Persian Commander: Spartans! Lay down your weapons!

Spear flies through the air and knocks him out!

Leonitus: Persians! Come and get them!

It's on!

I just watched the Simpsons movie with my parents. It was really funny, we all enjoyed it! :-D

hehe spider pig, spider pig......

i just watched rush hour 3, it was pretty good

I just watched Hot Rod with my parents again. It's a really funny movie! I recommend it! :-D

SUPERBAD..... 8-| 8-

Superbad was ok I guess, not my style of flick but meh.

Today I saw room 1408, and Balls of Fury. Both were somewhat dissapointing.

I just love this movie. Did see it a few days ago, too. I did watch "Hogfather" which is a movie from a book from Terry Pratchett...

Did you saw it on TV or Internet or DVD? I only can watch some cut pieces on youtube. But I've not seen them on Dvd in Holland. Sky one now makes The Colour of Magic and The Light Fantastic in one new Movie and it is supposed to be for Easter, I thought.

BTW Is that the Death of Rats In your avatar? :-D

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. That was a cool film. Very surreal at points, and it sort of reminded me of Akira which I think I'll enjoy more now but I'll definately buy it (borrowing Joe's copy).

Cool, I envy you. :'-( What's the story? (I know very little about it.)

They're doing the Color of Magic???!! :'-) Wouhouuuuuh!! although I'm a bit scared on how it'll turn out... I'm a huge fan of Terry Pratchett, and while I loved 'Hogfather' (I even created some subtitles, to share the experience with some friends... Not all of them understand english...) but I still think something was missing... It must be his writing that is inherent and as important to the story as the story itself. Part of the humour was left behind... But still...

Oh well, it can never be as same as the book, but What I saw on youtube from Hogfather looked good enough.

Saw "I am Legend" with my cousins a few days ago. Well, part of it. I don't like those kinds of movies, and I was expecting something different, because I'd never seen the trailer. The mutant screaming really creeped me out. 8-| I left partway through. :-$ Sat in the theatre for an hour, almost fell asleep, and two people asked if I was stoned. :-| Stupid *other* teenagers...

Saw "National Treasure: Book of secrets" last night. If anything, it was better than the first one. Good plot, one slightly cheesy part (kidnapping the President), but the beggining made me laugh.

Star Wars Ep. II *y* Lovely movie IMO *wub* , but a certain green dwarf doesn't seem to agree with me.. :-P

You see, I go to a Catholic School which let me off on Friday, so while everyone was at School I got to see the best movie ever. >:-)

If I attended a school like that.......Lil' UB wouldn't have existed anymore.. *wacko*

Saw I Am Legend yesterday, i really liked it! As a fan of post-apocalyptic films this was right up my alley.

Its scarier than i thought, but had a great storyline.

8/10

Also saw National Treasure 2 last week. It never really got me going. Without spoiling anything, it seemed like one miraculous break in after another.

5/10

The last movie I watched was Daddy Daycare.

  • Eurobricks Emperor

Yesterday I watched "Escape from Sobibor".

It's based on a true story of people escaping from a WW2 concentration camp.

Two days ago - Bee Movie.

I saw Juno. I quite enjoyed it, not a letdown whatsoever, as opposted to my last two movies *wub*

Watched Aliens vs Predator: Requium, now i love both series but the last AVP film sucked so i wasn't expecting much.

However i really enjoyed it, it was far better than i expected. Sure their wasn't much of a plot but who cares, the sight of those 2 bad boys beating the hell out of each other was more than enough for me.

Watched Arn - Tempelriddaren (Swedish movie, based on books by Jan Guillou). It was quite decent, a bit too long though, felt like it was building up to a climax that never came. Worth watching, but I hope the next one is either shorter or has more action ;-)

Saw The Golden Compass on Friday.

Last Movie I watched was Back to the Future: the original. It was good and funny, but it seems that whoever wrote the script was thinking along the lines of this:

"Hm, we got plenty of swears here, but look- this scene doesn't have any! Better add a few expletives here, oh and maybe another here! Hm, this one's perfect! Enough swears to keep the audience hooked for a while!"

In other words, it's like the random and non-sensical placement of swears in Transformers, only worse. :-|

Good thing that Part III actually had some sense about this issue... :-/

Saw I Am Legend, very very good! Will Smith as awesome as usual. A worthy DVD purchase methinks.

Agreed. the first AVP was a big disapointment, so i also didn't expect much from the second. But i have to say it was preety good. Alot of action, and played omage to the original aliens, and predator movies. They got right to the action with this one. that was one bad megablocks predator to take on the hole alien nest by himself! *y*

But the last movie i saw was National Treasure 2. Not bad. Not as good as the first though, but sequels ussually aren't.
