The Truman Show, one of my all time favourite movies. A fantastic performance by Jim Carrey, with a genuinely emotional story, its a fascinating study of human free will.

One of my favourite parts of the film: "We're not watching the water."

If you haven't seen it, do so now.

To the Batbrick Cave! >:-)

Meet the Spartans

:| awful film. I chuckled at one joke and that was it. 0/10

Shoot-em-up!

I thought it was awesome. The moment I saw him kill a guy with a carrot, I knew I would love this movie. 8/10

I've still not seen Stardust haha. On the other hand, I got Princess Mononoke in the post yesterday. Great film! Some original concepts indeed.

I just watched The Mist. It's an allright movie. Some of the acting was lame, but there was some good times. Me and my friends found it more funny than creepy 8-|

It's been two days since I last posted here, is that ok? :-$

I just watched DareDevil. It was allright. Some of the scenes were really lame, some weren't. I wouldn't recommend it over something like "Batman Begins" though.

Drillbit Taylor on Friday night. It was actually very good, and maybe even better than Superbad. 4 Stars. ****

Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark last night. My brother bought the trilogy so we're watching them all in order to get stoked for Indy IV. As good as ever. 4 Stars. ****

i think your on your own there hollisbrick, and not just on this site. I believe the entire world hates that film, but I don't

know I havn't seen it instread i went to see "drillbit Talyor" for my friends birthday and it was pretty decent, kind of an ordinary american film but funny none the less! ;-)

I also watched raiders of the lost ark, I think it's possibly the best! Yet I still can't find the R2 and C3PO egyption thing! |-/ X-D

Watched The Last Crusade. Contrary to what most people think, I'd have to say Temple of Doom was my favourite film of the trilogy. Can't wait for Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

I rushed my peg leg to a handicaped movie theater to see a fantastic movie called Mongol directed bu Sergei Bodrov.

That movie retraces the early life of one of the greatest conqueror of all times (after Alexander that is !!): Genghis Khan.

He was an early orphan who was enslaved several times !! He freed himself and what made him tolerate the untolerable was his unconditional love for hiw wife (he raised her 2 kids she had with other men - won't ebnter into complicated details here). And the movies ends after Temudjin reunified all of the mongolian tribes and became the famous Genghis Kahn.

The imagery is superb, the battles scenes are fantastic !! Don'tt expect to see another 300 mongolian style, thankfully its really not that !!

Its 2 hours of beautifull imagery, historical knowledge (how those tribes lived, their rules, their gods, their customs...) in mongolian.

A real must see movie !!

I think its part of a trilogy and that is great because every conqueror has roughly 3 eras: the becoming of the great character and how he became a leader, his actions and the impact (both positive and negative) he left on the world and finally his downfall.

:yoda:
