Luke McAwesome Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Zombieland. Hilarious. Must remember Rule #3 (don't trust bathrooms). That was the last one I watched too. Hilarious! I like Rule #1 best; Cardio. I have to keep that in mind... maybe I'll go jog a little bit... Quote

Batbrick Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Tomorrow Never Dies was on TV the other day. Bot the greatest Bond movie but not quite deserving of the flack it gets. The idea of a media mogul as the villain is a bit over-the-top, but compared to Moonraker or Octopussy the film is relatively tame by Bond standards and atleast very enjoyable compared to late abysmal Brosnan films. Batbrick Away! Quote
Zorbas Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 Hangover. Excellent! It's been a while since I watched such a good comedy and made me laugh. I'm getting married next year. Hmmm.... Quote
JimBee Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 Just remember Rule #2: Double Tap. If you shoot something and you don't think its dead, shoot it again. Saw that too, and that was the funniest rule. Tomorrow Never Dies was on TV the other day. Bot the greatest Bond movie but not quite deserving of the flack it gets. I never understand how you can remember each Bond movie- I've seen most of them and they all just get blended together in my head. I only remember a few of them distincly... (Casino Royale, Goldeneye, Octopussy, Quantum and Moonraker off the top of my head). You don't own them, do you? Quote

I've got a pretty darn good memory, I've memories all the James Bond films in order with their respective actors, plots and scenes. Admittingly yes though, they do sort of "blend" together, I've always wanted to splice all my favourite Bond action scenes together on one DVD. I own Dr No to Die Another Day on VHS, and the new continuity on DVD. Batbrick Away! Quote
prateek Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 (edited) I just watched Meet The Robinsons. It's a really deep movie, with life changing lessons... No, seriously, it does. Edited October 18, 2009 by prateek Quote
Batbrick Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 John Carpenter's The Thing, which is made of scary, paranoid, body mutating horror! I'm a pretty big John Carpenter fan, and this is his best movie in my opinion. What's more is that it is a partly Sci-Fi move that even people who don't *gasp* like sci-fi can enjoy (like my biased family). Spider-head for the win! Batbrick Away! Quote

I was building MOC while watching it, and had very successful building session. Quote
Mraz Skintas Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 I got the Transformers 2 DVD last night, and watched that. I must say, it's a pretty good movie, although I did like the first one better. I'm not sure why though....... Probably the fact the the Military had a larger role. But I still love them both. Quote
kill will Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 I last watched the ultimate edition of Predator yesterday afternoon. Great movie, always a classic. Quote
JCC1004 Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 My girlfriend wanted me to watch Simon Birch. It's not my favorite moive but it was good. She cried at the end! At least there was some humor that belonged in a PG-13 movie. It could have been better. Quote
phillip10 Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 In the last few weeks I watched some godzilla movies. Im gonna watch the rest of godzilla vs gigan on my new flatscreen tv soon Quote
Darth Hawken Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Star Wars episode 3 well I watched all of the episodes Quote
CDC Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 While she was out. And what a lame movie that was Quote
Ronan Dragonov Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 I saw Dodsworth on TCM last night. Great film. I'll probably buy the DVD. Quote
Professor Flitwick Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 I watched Eagle Eye a couple of days ago. Pretty good, and raises a good question on how much the goverment could actually do. Quote
YG-49 Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 Last movie I saw was Mary & Max. A great movie that explores many things. It also has an interesting ending twist that's both sad and unexpected. Anyway, it's about an 8 year-old girl living in Melbourne (That's in Australia ) called Mary and a severely obese 44-year old man in New York called Max. The pair become Pen Pals, and, whenever Mary asks Max a... difficult question, he freaks out and has an anxiety attack. Later this is explained because Max has Asperger's Syndrome. The movie the shifts 20 years-later, Mary has married her Greek neighbour and has written a book about Asperger's Syndrome She sends Max the first copy and he feels betrayed. He become's outraged, and pulls out the M key on his typewriter. I should probably stop now otherwise I'll have ruined the whole movie. I reccomend it to anyone. Quote
The Crazy One Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 I am quite a horror / sci-fi horror man to be fair, much to my girlfriends dismay. The Shining, The Orphanage, The Mist, Cloverfield, to name but a few of my favourites. Quote
Milan Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Kevin of the North (2001) Very nice relaxing movie, to watch without any need to think! Very pleasant after Herkul Poaro's brain twisting! Quote
Batbrick Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Your avatar is a beauty unto itself, Simon Pegg is brilliant and so is Shaun of the Dead. And so is Hot Fuzz, which I watched recently, gets better each time. One of the best crafted films I've ever seen, deconstructs the entire police action hero genre then reconstructs it in the final act, is flipping hilarious and just about every little thing in the first half of the film will have significance in the second half. And did I mention it's flipping hilarious? Batbrick Away! Quote
Milan Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 Without the Clue! Extraordinary movie with Michael Caine and Ben Kingsley. This time, Sherlock Holmes is not so sharp... Quote
Milan Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 10.5 My brother said: It is a great movie...you have to watch it...I said: Ok, ok...just play it. He was wrong. I do not like the movie at all. My description: Earthquake is about to hit West Coast, and only one seismologist is about to understand there is a far more greater danger than initial minor quake. Terrible acting, boring dialogs, scenes without any excitement, and all that packed in 3+hours! My opinion 2/10 stars (or whatever) Quote
