sok117 Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 So well, in fact, that I didn't even know he was in it until the credits. Agreed on that as well. Also, not to sound sexist, but I thought she was way too knowledgeable and snappy for girl of that age in that time. While not particularly annoying, I think that it was historically inaccurate. Not many people knew how to read or write during that time, especially women who were discouraged to learn. I think. It might've been earlier than when this took place. Funny, you agree with my comments, and I agree with your comments, and the I knew Matt Damon was in it going in, so I put 2 and 2 together, but my Dad was pleasantly surprised during the credits Quote
Eskallon Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 (edited) Just watched (In HD) "Star Wars Episode III: The Revenge Of The Sith" A great film which really took the original idea's further and developed them into something which was truly enjoyable. Especially towards the end when the Jedi's fell despite it being a rather sad moment for any fans it was shown perfectly and I loved it. If you haven't seen it then you have been living in a box for the past six years, so get yourself down to your Video Rental shop and watch it. Edited January 22, 2011 by Eskallon Quote

iamded Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Well I finally saw Wall-E and may I say, it is a great movie. Really makes ya smile. I also saw Coraline, a kind of creepy but great movie. I saw 9 (again), the post apocalyptic movie set around a group of sentient rag-doll robots. Love it. Watched Serenity again, and cursed all responsible for the cancellation of Firefly again. I also watched Machete. There is nothing I didn't like about that film. It was marvellous. I eagerly await the sequels, Machete Kills and Machete Kills Again. And lastly, I'm not sure this really counts, but I watched the mini-series Generation Kill. That was really cool, and very entertaining. Fun fact, since it's based on the non-fiction books, the soldier who played Rudy Reyes was actually Rudy Reyes himself. Quote
Captain Becker Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Well, i have watched some Zombie Horror movies lately, i dont know why even at i know i see nightmares after those. But anyways, I have watched: Resident evil 1,2 and 3. Also have watched some other movies wich i cannot remember at the moment. Sisco Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 I watched Batman: The Movie (1966) yesterday. Immediately after, I watched The Dark Knight. It was shocking to see the difference that time makes! Quote
user Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 We had some snow days off from school so I watched some studio Ghibli films I hadn't seen for many years and completely fell in love (which is hard for a computerbug) Anyhow I watch "My neighbor Totoro" "Princess Mononke" "Ponyo" and "Howl's moving castle" I've been listening to the music from them and watched Howl about three times in one weekend and I could probably still watch it or Totoro again. They're just completely mind blowing and get your mind wrapped in their worlds, they all have great characters, awesome music, touching story lines, and some of the best animation I've seen in my life. They are all true works of art, I just can't get enough of this song either. Quote

Zorbas Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 Unstoppable http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JA63glohLhg I watched it at a friend's high-end home cinema set-up and I really enjoyed it. Having all these LEGO train news was a great timing I guess. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland on cable TV last night. I know this movie generally had mixed reviews, but for some reason I really enjoyed watching this one, from the visual effects to the story itself. And just recently re-watched ANH on DVD today. I really love the dramatic musical scoring (Luke looking faraway on Tatooine scene), which is also being used in some scenes in the current CW series. Quote
Tamamono Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 I watched the 1931 production of Dracula based off of Bram Stoker's novel today. Now I have some great ideas for vampire-themed MOCs! Quote
TheMasterChief Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Inception was amazing. Confusing the end was!? Quote

I did Rots a few days ago, I wasn't in the mood so I watched Zombieland instead. Alice is a great flick, I saw it when it came out. The Other Guys. Hilarious movie. I love that movie. As I said above I watched zombieland, BLech. It was a little gross, and I've never been one for dark humor Quote
Captain Becker Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 Saving private Ryan, nice movie, but the beginning of it was so rude at i dont recommend to watch it untill you are atleast 20 years old. And currently watching Armageddon, Well, the beginning was a good and looked promising, but when the movie goes on, it turns into a little bit boring but also exiting movie. Captain Becker Quote
sok117 Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Saving private Ryan I saw that movie when I was like 10, cried for an hour, then had nightmares. Definitley wouldn't recommend it to anyone under the age of 14. Quote
