Minifig Head Search Function

I was trying to expand my pirate crew the other day by taking heads from other themes and it occured to me that it would be useful to have a search engine where you could search for heads matching a specific criteria...

The options would be something like:

male/female/andogynous

yellow/flesh/other

classic eyes/eyes with white dots in them/exoforce eyes

one sided/double sided

glasses/no glasses

technology (microphones etc)/no technology

So if you wanted to find suitable heads for Brickbeard's crew, you'd do a search for yellow;eyes with white dots in them;single sided;no glasses;no technology, and that would come up with a list of appropriate heads. And if you clicked on the picture of the head, it would go to the BrickLink page where you can see which sets include this head.

Does a search engine like this exist, and if it doesn't, would it be useful? And what other criteria should it have that I hadn't thought of?

I could possibly learn enough HTML skills to program this myself, but I'm not sure if it would be useful enough to other people, or if anyone else is already working on it.

I think that is a great idea and very useful if someone could figure out.

You can do most of those by using the search function and colour guide on bricklink:

Dual-sided heads

Yellow heads

Glasses

Non-human (alien) heads

Yellow heads with moustaches

etc.

I don't think there's a way to exclude certain types of head though (eg. no glasses).

Go to Bricklink, select the Catalogue tab, click Parts, in the parts menu choose Minifig Head. This opens a massive thumbnailed gallery or list (depending on how you choose to view BL) in the search bar above this list/gallery (but not at the top of the page,this one is under the navigaton bar) you can put in terms like Eyepatch, Beard, Angry etc and have all the heads that match that term.
