ACCURATEin Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Does your station ship tires worldwide? A couple of the minifigs in my town need a deal on some new tires. Quote

slacker int Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Nice work lightningtiger! and congrats on being front paged too! This is my favourite New Mannum building yet... it is more "MOC" than "MOD" and you have packed quite a bit of detail and playability into it. The latest version with side walls and batteries looks great, and really shows how your designs/ building style keeps improving. I'm a conformist! Quote
Loganwan Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Very nice work. It looks much more like an actual store than the original, though it cannot service trucks any more. Oh well. :) Having more tools for the mechanic to use is great. I might have to 'borrow' some of those ideas for my shop. Thanks for sharing. It is fun to watch it grow and change. Quote

Piranha Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 I haven't seen a MOC from you in a while and I must say excellent job! This is easily one of your best to date! I really like how you incorporated the Bridgestone logo and your use of decals in other MOCs as well. Hey where is your pimped smart car at? Quote

lightningtiger Posted March 8, 2010 Author Posted March 8, 2010 After having two new tyres put on my car today, I got a close look at an actual tyre fitting bay and thought could I make a tyre fitting machine - you know the one - you remove the old rubber from the rim, you put a new rubber on the rim and put air in it - right ........so here is the latest addition to this Select dealership...... Large air compressor tank for filling tyres and operating the tyre claw Put air in the new tyre. Taking the tyre off the machine....ready to fit on that car or truck that needs it. Comments very welcome and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
lightningtiger Posted March 11, 2010 Author Posted March 11, 2010 Just a quick post, made some signs........Walker exhaust - Bendix brake pads - Monroe shockers ! Most tyre dealers sell and fitting exhausts, shockers and repair brake systems. Comments welcome and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 4, 2010 Author Posted April 4, 2010 Now this just clicked - a truck that delivers the tyres and also rims too.......among other things. I have used this truck before and it has the same checky driver (ex-Dr Inferno's henchmen) - he scored the contract with photos of the dealerships owners in the Syndey Mardi Gras dressed as the Village People ! Comments welcome and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
