Peppermint_M Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Delivering fresh dairy and produce to Lego Town. I decided that 4-wide suited this little vehicle to a t so I ran with it. My milk delivering brother and Town loving Mum both approve. More photos on Brickshelf Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 The word is CUTE ! Simple classic town style milk float, you'll have to use some clear 1x1 round bricks as the empties ! Great job 'Peppermint_M' and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
BlueBard Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Simple, and very very nice! I'll always say that simplest is the best Quote
Zorbas Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Nice work Peppermint! I really like the fact that you made it a 4 wide vehicle. Great choice on the wheels. I'll always say that simplest is the best Seconded! Quote
Peppermint_M Posted February 23, 2010 Author Posted February 23, 2010 Why thank you. I now need to seek out some more silver studs and clear cylinders, this was a quick MOC from a pile of parts close to hand. Glad you all like it Quote
prateek Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Great job! It's so simple, yet it's so cool. That roof over the back is really well done, eventhough it's only a plate Quote
Big Cam Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Cute truck, it looks like he's low on milk. Quote
Rick Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 'Cute' is the word indeed Judging by it's supply, business is good. Could do with a bit more milk in the back... Quote
Princess Muttonchops Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 I know it's already been said, but...CUTE! Gives me flashbacks to the good 'ol days... Quote
Peppermint_M Posted February 24, 2010 Author Posted February 24, 2010 Thanks. I started making a 6-wide Milk float, but it just didn't look right. The current "stock" is simply all I had to hand at the time. I made the MOC by taking apart a few of the Daily Mirror promotionals, the Imperial Hoth BP and some spares floating in my "fiddly parts that need sorting" box and it would have taken a mere 5 minutes (if it hadn't exploded as I was pushing the roof into place). I hope to make a few more smaller MOCs for a town because I have been on a bit of a building slump and only the City sets have really attracted me of late. Quote
The Player Nº1 Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Simple and fantastic. Congratulations. Regards Quote
dr_spock Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Nice work, Peppermint_M. 4 wide trucks are cute. Quote
