Hinckley Posted March 27, 2010 Author Posted March 27, 2010 I'd like to examine that gem closely to see if anything seems to be moving inside it. *Shows Sheldon the gem so he can satisfy his curiosity* *Fred shows Sheldon the gem. There is nothing moving inside, but there is a power to the gem that makes it seems somewhat...alive.* *Fred pockets the gem.* *Goes to the bike to remove the chain so we have something to tie William up with* *Fred removes the chain from the bike and starts to tie up William with it.* *stands over unconsious William like Neytiri in Avatar, hissing* *Donna gets in the way, protecting her husband, certain that the gem was planted on him or it was something given to him by his father.*
Zapper Brick Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 Ok. Donna, please, out of the way. Your Hubby was caught with this gem in his pocket, which is rather suspicous, don't you think?
Dannylonglegs Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 I know him! He's not evil! I'm sure you think he's some kind of theif, or murderer but he's not! There's no reason to tie him up either! I'm sure we can just sort this out when he wakes up in an orderly and genial way, 'cause he's a reasonable person! Let's just settle this as civilized people! You're not tying up Penny over there just because she's wearing her grammy's necklace! Some one take that gun from her! My god.
Zapper Brick Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 Good madam, please explain why exaclty we should believe you? You have perfect reason to protect him, even if he is a demon. Besides, he claimed that the writer of the previous note was just "Trying to confuse things" when in fact now we have two letters that claim ha and perhaps his father were evil.

Besides, he claimed that the writer of the previous note was just "Trying to confuse things" when in fact now we have two letters that claim ha and perhaps his father were evil. Well for one, I'm not toting a dart gun, and haven't shot anyone. And, Hell yeah I've got a right to protect my husband from a paranoid tourist band! And, I claimed the same thing! I'm not sure which letter to believe, but Just because my father in-law was mentioned doesn't mean that his son, William, is a bad guy! He's just interested in this place, and has been ever since he was a kid (probably because of his father) but that doesn't mean that he'll follow in his footsteps! Am I the only rational one here? Let's just wait for him to resusctate and ask him politely about whatever it is you want to know. We're not savages, right? I assure you that he isn't either, and that he has nothing to hide!
Hinckley Posted March 27, 2010 Author Posted March 27, 2010 *Donna surprisingly knocks the tranquilizer gun out of Sandy's hands. Sandy goes after the older woman, who can surprisingly hold her own. Donna lands a good square punch to Sandy's face and Sandy retaliates by shoving Donna up against the wall. Sheldon pulls Sandy away from the fight while Diesel pulls Donna back towards William where the encroaching mob is getting closer with their chains to subdue William...* *Diana ignores the distraction and tries to find that missing tile from the mosaic to get more answers and hopefully stop the fighting...*
Zapper Brick Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 Ow. Ok. What's next? Shoot her too? Oh, and I'd like to retrive the dart gun.
I Scream Clone Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 Oooo Chick fight! Hold on I think I saw some jelly and oil over in the main chamber. Feel the wrath of my manliness! Just keep it in your pants for once sword boy! A dark gem and light gem.....I would like to place the two gems near each other and see if there is some kind of reaction.
Hinckley Posted March 27, 2010 Author Posted March 27, 2010 Ow. Ok. What's next? Shoot her too? Oh, and I'd like to retrive the dart gun. *Sandy picks the tranquilizer gun back up.*
Sir Dillon Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 *Diana ignores the distraction and tries to find that missing tile from the mosaic to get more answers and hopefully stop the fighting...* Tra lah lah Searching ruins is so relaxing. Umm.... I'll try to move these benches around and see if anything happens.
Hinckley Posted March 28, 2010 Author Posted March 28, 2010 Umm.... I'll try to move these benches around and see if anything happens. *The benches do not move.*
iamded Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 I would like to... Um. I think I'll just stand over by my dear Tony. And.. uh.. examine the large hole in the wall again. I need to collect my thoughts...
Shadows Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 I have a feeling that isn't an evil gem, but clearly important. When William wakes up, I think it should be given back to him, we aren't thieves (I'm not so sure about some of you...) and it isn't the time to start acting like them. The necklace seems like it could be an evil detector like when my sword starts glowing blue in the basement.
MagPiesRUs Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 Hmm... Maybe a few of us should climb over the wall again and try to save Stanton from the menacing cloaked figures?
Shadows Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 Hmm... Maybe a few of us should climb over the wall again and try to save Stanton from the menacing cloaked figures? Since logically they wouldn't have faked his death unless he was working for them, I see no real need to rescue him from his accomplices.
MagPiesRUs Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 Since logically they wouldn't have faked his death unless he was working for them, I see no real need to rescue him from his accomplices. You could be right. But if that's the case, why would he be running away from his "accomplices"?
Dragonator Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 I'm not sure what all this business is with the gems, but that sure is a pretty... err, necklace. Nice curves, and an interesting placement of the stone. I for one do not think we should be tying anyone up thank you, let u wait for my father-in-law to come around and see what he has to say about this gem. I agree that it isn't necessarily evil, and he may well have just picked it up earlier on his wanderings, so we'll wait and see. Oh, and Donna... COOL IT! You too Sandy. This is no time for us to be fighting each other, especially when there are mad cultists on the loose. Although that was a great punch Donna, I didn't think you had it in you. Now, on to other matters. This wall of shelves that won't open, I have a feeling that the cupboards are all fake and that the whole thing is perhaps a fake wall of some kind that will open if we do the right thing. With that in mind, I would like to search around the outsides of the wall for any signs of a hinge or wear at the stone from movement, and I would also like to move the statues arms to see if this triggers anything.

Dragonator Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 *The wall of unopened panels does seem to be one large panel.**Which statue's arm would you like to try and move?* First I would like to move the arm of the central statue holding the spear. Then I will move on to its right arm, before moving to the statue on the right and pushing its left and right arms, and then the statue on the left's arms. Feel free to stop me any time something exciting happens.
Hinckley Posted March 30, 2010 Author Posted March 30, 2010 First I would like to move the arm of the central statue holding the spear. Then I will move on to its right arm, before moving to the statue on the right and pushing its left and right arms, and then the statue on the left's arms. Feel free to stop me any time something exciting happens. *The center statue is stone and, as mentioned earlier, doesn't move at all.* *Diesel attempts to move the "statue" on the right and when he touches it, an odd series of events occurs: the statue's arm seems to move to brush Diesel's hand away. Diesel clutches his right arm and falls back. The "statue" seems to step down from it's alcove although it is possible that it just fell, everything happens so fast. As Diesel lays on the ground shaken and shivering, a presence appears in the room, placing itself between Diesel and the "statue." As everyone looks at the odd apparition, Diesel complains of being very cold. The "statue" on the left side of the room also falls off the wall.*
Shadows Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 *Diesel goes boom"* I'd like to examine his right arm for marks, punctures, drug tracks, bruises, whatever. Anyone else think the apparition looks like Siegfried?
Dragonator Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Ga... g-g-guys, ittt's a bittt c... cold-d d-don'ttt you think-k-k? *shiver* DJ.... d-d-darling... where the hell are you!? And where the hell is my bloody sword, for that matter? Diesel looks at the Voice accusingly. *shiver*
MagPiesRUs Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Anyone else think the apparition looks like Siegfried? I don't know, from what I can see the apparition is wearing a top hat.
