paul2000 Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 (edited) This is my current TIE-Interceptor, it is inspired by seeing great models on Brickshelf and wanting one of my own. Pictures are deeplinks and the folder, which contains more, will be public soon. I suck at photography and need more pratice, I think it looks better in real life and in Ldview. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Paul2000...tsideangle3.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Paul2000...or/frontlow.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Paul2000...eptor/above.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Paul2000...ceptor/back.jpg I just registered and introduced myself here I hope you like this model and maybe you can give me feedback on how to improve it. Rufus Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Good effort, looks right, and I like how you've done the back - better than the official model which has too many colours going on. Quote
Loganwan Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Welcome. Your Tie-I looks great. Good use of Grey/Black. I like the use of the black vent pieces on the center of the wings. It might look really good if you were to put more pieces like that on the rest of the black part of the wings to really give it the solar panel look. Thanks for sharing. Quote
John31388 Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Great tie-interceptor, Looks great and and right on to the movie. Quote
CommanderFox Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Looks just like the real fighter! Nice job in making it paul2000, and welcome to EB! The fighter looks about the right size, and you have nailed the designe of it! I like the little Greebles between the wings. Nice job! looking forward to seeing more of your MOCs! CommanderFox Quote
Svelte Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Welcome to EB! Please review the Site Guidelines below for image size specifications - 2000+ pixels wide each is just too big! http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=18718 Resize your images and then you can go back and edit your first post with deeplinks again. Thanks! Quote
Big Cam Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 To me it looks almost identical to the standard Tie Interceptor except in all grey, which I like, being that blue was never really used on these ships in the movies. I think the color change looks good. Quote
Brickus Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 Looks good, better than the blue version. Quote
