I'm REALLY dissapointed that lego is releasing the new sets first in the US

That was sure to catch Davids attention! :-D He is always moaning about sets not being released in the US until they have been released in Europe.

See.. ;)

Plus you got that house, there is no sign of it ever coming over here.

And I don't think it is available in the US. It is not in any books or stores and the website will not let me order it. It says "not available in your country".

It is just pure justice, you get all the world city sets of 2005 in 2004 :|

Oh yes because TWO fire sets equal all the City sets for 2005. :|

Two out of what, 15 new City sets, end of the world now. :|

At least you know you are getting the set. Just got the X-Mas catalog today and no sign of the House.

That police set reminds me of all the old sets that lego have given us in the past, its nice to see that their once again giving us well produced sets.

I just noticed the police dog :-D , its a really nice touch.

Is the baseplate a new mold?

I think that it might eb the same as the green one used for a KK castle. But of course, it is in grey not green. I don't know though, as I cannot see all of the baseplate on the picture.

OMG that crane is fantastic!!!!!! Your right david i cant believe that a 5 year old would be able to build it :-D

Lego are really producing some of their best sets in years, finally we can have a city thats not just made up by police and firemen.

Yes, but what are we biulding with the constrution sets? There are no post offices, houses or anything. So what are they biulding? More Police and Fire Stations? :)

Wow! Thanks for all the new sets news Sam and David. :oo There sure is alot to look at.

The city construction sets look great. I am gald that finally we have got a system crane eather than another technic one.

The 7243 set looks interesting.. look how many 1x1 round bricks there are! :oD must be about 100!!

I sure want to get this and 7249, this looks very nice too.

The guy in the street cleaner sure looks depressed, but I can't blame him really! :P

The fire station looks kinda boring.. there isn't much in it and it seems too empty.

As for the new KK2 figs... *sick*

The firts batch was a bit shaky, but these are horrible. Reminds me of Galidor as they are made of basically 2 molded pieces. Why oh why did they release these??

But all in all, a nice range of sets, but this means a nice price too.. :(

Once again, Eurobricks has got the news! Good one you guys! :)

Jon.

P.S. hehe, smilie mad! *wacko*

Damn.... Those are some cool sets...

The Vulture Droid looks much better than his predecessor, much sleeker... (Only the color is... annyoing... But thats not Lego's fault I think)

This big crane is just fantastic....

I like the new KK2 "bigi"-figs much more than the old ones.... Seen from a oldschool-lego-point-of-view they are just some bionicle-megablock-thing, but they DO look cool... I like especially this big armor plates and especially the fact that at least the armors of the first three knights look metallic... :D

I think Lego saw that all the Lego fans out there needed sets with QUALITY and this is what we will get mostly in 2005!!! :oD

Well they can build whatever we can think of after all isnt that the point of lego??

But i do agree with you we do need some buildings.

Yiiiiiiiiiiiiipppieeeeeeeee Gotta get those new city sets and the ferrari truck. I did hop that LEGO would make additionals like the Williams racer in 2003. But it'll do... love that crane *wub* But I too agree that we need other city houses like post offices, hospitals and so on - not another fire station or police station. Have anyone seen other pics from STAR WARS? All I've seen is this single fighter and drone set.

That's not even the real Fire Sation. The real one is much worse, there is no second floor to the biulding, and the fire van is a SUV type thing. The reason I think that this picture is what Lego was thinking of doing for $50 and instead made it for $30 and took some stuff away, which is fine by me.
