That would significantly cut down on the size of the threads. And then you would only have to focus on the themes you are interested in. I for one, am not really interested in AlphaTeam, Racers, et. al. Just a suggestion, Steve

I still don't think they are :-D The other ones we saw were with pictures of other prototypes (like the fire station). Also, the person who posted the pics said that the new ones are the finished sets. ;)
David85 Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 Not again... The pictures I posted are the prototypes! Sam's pictures are the real thing! The crane looks better now, more real than the old one, the only thing about the new REAL one is the side cockpit of the crane looks bad.

David85 Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 I guess we didn't... The prototypes have boxes quite a lot, its to make sure how it looks on the box. You can tell that the new crane is the real crane because it has more new pieces, looks more real, and looks like it would be a $50 set. That's probably why they changed it, the old one looked like a $70 set and no kid would spend it on a crane.

The Alpha Team sets will be in England sometime next year, unlike that god damn house you guys got.... grrrrrrr I think the Alpha Team sets suck, but as long as someone buys it and Lego makes money I'm fine with that. More money means better City sets. :)

I think everyone will understand now ;) I think the reason the new pics are on a table is because the person who took the pics gets the sets early somehow (he also gave us the first City pics of the helicopter and the van, and pics of the speedboat), and takes pictures of them himself on a table.

We call each other names all the time, you really need to chill today. Or is it you think that the Earth is flat and thats why? They kind of got rid of the Summer time releases, they just release sets when ever they feel like it. My guess is though, my guess, as in not a fact, is that the crane miht be a summertime release along with some surprise sets. That's just a feeling through, and is my opinion and not a fact.
