Posted February 28, 201014 yr Hello. This is my second MOC for the JRC. I would like to present: Fort Royal Royal fort in the Caribbean Fort with an observation tower, a small haven with a lift, armed with cannons. I was inspired by the hole in a wall made by Evildead: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/evildead...yale_port01.jpg but I used the 'valentine's technique' for the brick: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Piglet/m...entynki2009.jpg and tried to make a little thinner plaster. This work was also inpired by Kris Kelvins Eldorado Fortress 2009: http://www.flickr.com/photos/kris_kelvin/s...57622723483606/ Enjoy: Brickshelf folder - Full gallery (already available) My homepage - Full gallery (there are some notes under the photos) Flickr - only first 3 photos
February 28, 201014 yr 'Piglet' TOTALLY AWESOME !!!! From the guy carrying cannon balls, to the fishman to the dead pirate hanging (gee he must have ticked someone off to be put there eh ?) this is......well I have already said it.........awesome ! February 28, 201014 yr That´s an awesome looking fort! You´ve put some great techniques into it And ofcourse welcome to the forum, there´s no better way to introduce yourself than with such a MOC
February 28, 201014 yr What a great creation Piglet! The colours are nice, and the brickwork is really nice. Great work on the cliff as well. Soon!
February 28, 201014 yr This is one of the best Imperial forts I have seen in Lego. I really like white/tan/dark-red color scheme. The battle damage to the walls is really well done and I just love this here: The way you've incorporated the BURPs is great and I really like that you can reach the underground cells via the water, which makes rescue attempts by brave pirates possible.
February 28, 201014 yr Man, what is in the Polish water that makes you all such good MOCers? This is a beautiful fort. I love the colors, and you gave it a really nice feel with the transition from water to rock to the fort. Excellent work, you're on the frontpage!
February 28, 201014 yr A very well done MOC Piglet! I love the color scheme, the rocks are very well done, and pretty much everything blends perfectly. Excellent work!
February 28, 201014 yr Omg thats totally amazing!!! Really I wish Lego company would release sets like this
February 28, 201014 yr Brilliant fort! I love the small cage with the skeleton and the good use of damaged official walls.
February 28, 201014 yr This is a great MOC!!!. I love the rocks on the cliff, very realistic. Great job, keep up the good work.
February 28, 201014 yr That´s an awesome looking fort! You´ve put some great techniques into it And ofcourse welcome to the forum, there´s no better way to introduce yourself than with such a MOC AGREED!
February 28, 201014 yr Amazing you combined all three models into a giant fortress, however I think i heard of the name already where was it? Which realy comes up to me is that whenever there's a fort on here it's controled by redcoats.Probaply because their name are imperial guards so they guard the forts while us bluecoats go out like the soldiers we are.Anyway sorry for off topic but it is a wonderful fort.
February 28, 201014 yr Author And ofcourse welcome to the forum, there´s no better way to introduce yourself than with such a MOC Thanks... Posts: 27Joined: 31-May 06 but I'm not new here, I'm just not a very active user : o) Man, what is in the Polish water that makes you all such good MOCers? I don't know, but I'm quite happy with that ; o) This is a beautiful fort. I love the colors, and you gave it a really nice feel with the transition from water to rock to the fort. Excellent work, you're on the frontpage! Thanks, I'll be famous! ; o) Amazing you combined all three models into a giant fortress, however I think i heard of the name already where was it? What do you mean? Maybe you have some recalls with my last year's MOC - Spaniards Bay: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=29730 I use here the same white bricks and the tower is similar ; o) Which realy comes up to me is that whenever there's a fort on here it's controled by redcoats.Probaply because their name are imperial guards so they guard the forts while us bluecoats go out like the soldiers we are. I just wanted to use my new pirate sets minifigs. If they were blue I would use them the same way ; o) From the original series I prefer blue coats over the red ones. Thank you for all the comments.
