Alywin Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Built in January, it is a small villa in the rural area with a small private pool. The building style is that for the old-day town house with the back open for playing. Hope you enjoy! Your comment is much appreciated. Thanks. Quote
prateek Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Wow. That house must be expensive. I really like the indoor pool and the different details like the awning and the decorative balcony Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Must say 'Alywin' I'm impressed ! The clever use of that base plate to the use of all those trans-blue parts to the white roof (very nice - I really like that part) ! Excellent MOC - you have given this tiger some ideas to work with - COOL ! I'm a conformist! 'Alywin' I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Marko Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Nice home you have! What is the latitude where your villa is located? IS the pool glazed? Nice. Quote
Zorbas Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Very nice work Alywin! I really like the overall design of the building and the use of that baseplate suits perfect. Extra points for making it open on the back. Thye interior looks also great. Is that a La-Z-Boy chair I see? Nice! Good job! Quote
Rufus Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Very nice Villa! Lovely detail. I must say that I'd see this more as a seaside holiday home than a rural villa; it reminds me of some of the Art Deco houses on the south coast of England (I'm thinking Sandbanks in Dorset, for anyone familiar with the area). Mrs Rufus says it reminds her of Venice (but I've never been there ). My only tiny niggle - the left lamppost is lower than the right. Otherwise, great job! Quote
