de-marco Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 I made it in summer 2009 for RFFL "Big summer contest" Quote
lightningtiger Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 AWESOME tow truck and black sports car 'de-marco' ! Fantastic design job you have done, I like the slide mechanism and drive shaft on the truck ! Great work and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
L-space Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 Nice work de-marco. Great attention to detail and the a pefect rendition of the truck. Quote
FishHead Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 Well done! Nice attention to the small details. I particularly like the drive shaft! Quote
Ralph_S Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 Zeek asked me to be a judge for this particular competition and this was one of the five favourite entries I ended up picking. I also wrote a few comments on each. For this one I wrote " I like everything about it: the size, the fact that the mechanism for the loadbed works, the driveshaft leading to the rear wheels. It combines good looks and working features in a small package." All of that still applies Cheers, Ralph Quote
prateek Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 Antoher awesome vehicle! I would've never thought of using those pieces for the grill Quote
Rufus Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 Another beautiful, detailed MOC, de-marco. The other entries must have been amazing if this didn't win the contest. Great idea for the rear footplates: do the grille tiles stay in place? Quote
Loganwan Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 I looked at the first picture and said to myself that the truck is nice, but if it has a slider on the back, then it is going to be awesome. And it is awesome. I like that you went for all of the small details like the leg supports for when the back is down. Really nice design. Quote
ImLost Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 One of the best tow trucks I've seen. I especially love the splash of blue on the vehicle's bed. Beautiful colors and design! Quote
JayDuck Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Great amount of details big and small you packed in to that truck. Nice work! Quote
