Actually I am now inclined to believe Private Yellman's assumption, and to relate her findings together with the other investigator is possible, but do we have enough time convict? Personally, I think we are running out of time... If the rest of the regiment felt his words is worth believing, I am willing to cast this vote as well.

On the other hand, I shared the same sentiments with Provost Guard Dalese on the thoughts, of the other half of the regiment flying under the radar.. Till this stage, it's always the same faces that are trying to narrow the suspects..

Let's hope we can get a conviction out of today, I'm dearly sorry Reutal if you're an honoured soldier. But Yellman's case might be true, if not then we will avenge thee. So I vote: Private David Reutal (Dragonator)

Vote: Private David Reutal / Dragonator

I suppose, I just hope that we're right today. I do hope we're not making another fatal mistake.

I don't like it either, but at that point we're pretty desperate. I hope tomorrow is better.

I hope this is the right decision and everyone is correct in what they've been saying and what I've been hearing. Here goes my first vote.

Vote: Private David Reutal / Dragonator

To fear that I will miss my chance of voting, while I am carrying out my duties, I will place my vote as well, with a heavy heart...

Very well, Regiment, I shall heed your call and vote - even though, once again, no conclusive evidence has been brought out into the light. I do not want to be the one who ruins your morale by not casting my vote.

However, I am not convinced that Private Reutal is indeed the guilty party here. Sergeant Stanley Hemphill, on the other hand, has been acting very suspicious and it is precisely because of my earlier assumptions that I hereby Vote: Sgt. Stanley Hemphill / Stash2sixx. Given his lack of any plausible explanation as to why he let Private Dan Gale die even though he knew he was innocent, I have no other choice but to consider him a deserter - one wearing a moustache!

"We may yet get a conviction! The sun sets in 30 minutes. Let's see what we have so far!"

11 votes are needed to convict...

Private David Retaul (Dragonator) - 8 votes (Sandy, Rick, Captain Genaro, Alex the Great, Bob the Construction Man, Shadows, New Right, WhiteFang)

Sergeant Stanley Hemphill (Stash2sixx) - 1 vote (MetroiD)

Well, then, let's see if we can push one through!" -Captain Qocél-

I will come to Sgt Hemphill's defense in this instance. Pvt D. Gale was convicted very quickly. I was certain of his innocence and would have defended him, but the conviction was too quick for me to even try to save his life. He pled to me to help him in private but I was unable to help him due to the conviction coming so fast. So far, Sgt Hemphill has been correct in finding Pvt Gale innocent as well as myself. I fear this other "investigator" who has not come forward may be paranoid and quite unreliable. This "investigator" may not even be an investigator and just using Pvt Yellman as a pawn to send their messages to us in order to get him killed next. It is highly unlikely that any investigator would find 2 of the deserters on 2 nights in a row. I am very uncomfortable voting at this point. The "investigator" who is making accusations through Pvt Yellman should reveal himself.

Hopefully I'll get my vote in in time. I apologize to my fellow Provost Guard but we need to sentence someone and it's highly unlikely everyone will turn around in such short a time, but you do bring up a good point tomorrow. Speaking of which, it should be interesting depending on what the night reveals.

I'm clueless on what position to take, but Yellman's scenario seems to yield important information irrespective of whether Pvt. Retaul is indeed the murderer.

I agree with you on this one.

I can't really see why someone would be pointing fingers at me, I mean, I don't even have a night action, so I'm no threat to the deserters in that regard.

No threat to the deserters maybe, perhaps you are a deserter yourself? In that case you needn't have a night action to be a threat. Private Yellman is one convincing chap, so I'll vote: Private David Reutal (Dragonator). I sure hope we haven't all made another graver mistake...

"You all disappoint me! The other Regiments look like gold compared to yours! I held yours in such high esteem! Perhaps drastic measures are called for...Well....I've never seen a more, sadder paranoid bunch of soldiers in my entire life! Perhaps I will move the 53rd Guards into your camps at night. Tell them the first man to walk out of their tent will be shot. If nobody is convicted tomorrow, the 53rd will be posted. And I warn you, they are trigger happy." -Provost General

11 votes were needed to convict...

Private David Retaul (Dragonator) - 9 votes (Sandy, Rick, Captain Genaro, Alex the Great, Bob the Construction Man, Shadows, New Right, WhiteFang, iamded)

Sergeant Stanley Hemphill (Stash2sixx) - 1 vote (MetroiD)

************

The day has ended with no conviction. Please send in your night actions within the next two days. For the rest of you, check in within the next two days for another exciting chapter of Imperial Soldier's Mafia!
