I Scream Clone Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 Just lovely! The brickwork stands out along with the colour scheme. The figures are spot on and vehicles look great. Good luck mate. Quote
Rick Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 (edited) Instantly recognizable as a 'KK'. I don't have much to add to what has been said so far. The 'fortifications' are indeed a nice touch and the cars are worthy of being presented as a seperate MOC. The figs are great. And I like that you've even added a 'play feature' this time - the opening garage. Edited March 7, 2010 by Rick Quote
kris kelvin Posted March 7, 2010 Author Posted March 7, 2010 Thanks a lot for very nice comments. It means a lot for me Number of parts it`s random, but I think that it will be something like this. Quote
Legononymous Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 The MOCS I think are what has endeared me to this hobby of LEGO collecting. I can't describe how tickled I get looking at these MOCS and the detail involved in making them. I'm not sure if I'll ever amass the amount of LEGO bricks needed to attempt a larger one of my own but from what I've seen it's skill I'll need to acquire first. This one is well thought out and put together. As already said, I wish this was a set one could purchase. I didn't see the safe as someone has mentioned. Did I just miss it? Quote
General Redwater Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Very Very nice building!!!!!!! It looks great! The buildings look like they did back in the 30s. Spectacular work! bravo! Quote

supersympa Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 first i thought it was a review of a real set coming out! but no, it is a beautifull MOC that you did there! I would buy it!! congrats! Quote
medieval_total_lego Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 oh my god kris!!! that's truly amazing Quote
kris kelvin Posted March 8, 2010 Author Posted March 8, 2010 And once again I thank all of you for your kind words. I know that is a little bit boring to watch another building in similar colours, but I like it Quote
Ras 74 Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 I so love the period around the 30´s in USA. Not just because of the Mafia, but also for so many other cool things. Very beautiful cars and clothes (if you were a little important at least) the architecture of the houses, fancy partys. Who would not be able to travel back to that time? I think you captured alot of this in your very fantastic MOC kris kelvin. As kind of already mentioned, great costumes on great figs. The cars is very good as well. I so enjoyed when the Indy line brought us those cars, and I wanted to redo them and make my own MOC´s of them. There fore I enjoy it very much when I see those 30´s cars MOCed. The colour scheme of your house is very great. The more I look at your house, the more I like the design of it. There were some small details I wasn´t all liking in the beginning. Therefore I wanted to look more at it before posting. Very nice "box" art as well! Thinking about it as well, I would even have liked it better if 10197 Fire Brigade was in fact a police station. Then I would already have gotten that set. Quote
MetroiD Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Always a joy to blog your MOCs, Pawel :) Best of luck in the competition!!! Keep us posted on how it goes :] Quote
Feuer Zug Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 That's quite a MOC there. Great work in fitting it in to the 1920's. The details are amazing and really give it the feel. Quote
Sci-FiFleetAdmiral Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 When I first saw this, my reaction was "Wow! What an awesome Lego Ideas set TLG is producing!" Every detail on this is superbly done, and while I haven't seen the movie, I still would buy this in an instant! Quote
kris kelvin Posted October 30, 2015 Author Posted October 30, 2015 Thanks guys, but... LOL. This is 5 years old :D Quote
