Posted March 7, 201014 yr In a tumultuous time, Queen Esmerelda was able to unite many warring factions to bring piece to the fabled land of Gazpacho. Here we see the celebratory feast to acknowledge all the delegates and general merriment. Trouble in the rafters! Full spread here Cheers ISC.
March 7, 201014 yr Looks like one of my wife's family parties ! AWESOME MOC 'ISC' - really cool and what a dinner party ! Great assortment of castle characters all in the one place at the same time - cool again ! Stainglass windows are great as the monster table with all the food layed out ! What else can I say but, 'I'm a conformist! ISC I'm a conformist! !
March 7, 201014 yr "magic fight" Nice scene, loads of detail, great techniques, and funny easter egg, whats not to like?
March 7, 201014 yr Very well done ISC, I love big halls & feasts (though I don't know if I would attend this one ). What kind of mace is that dwarf holding?
March 7, 201014 yr Author Thanks guys The Mace is a Brickforge piece, might be a few others in the MOC too
March 7, 201014 yr Oh my ISC, that's amazing work. I love all the details and figs you've crammed into this MOC. The stained glass windows work a treat! Well done!
March 8, 201014 yr I get déjá vu feelings now. It feels like I have seen this one before That fest scene is really great ISC! I really have nothing to say to you to improve your creation. Iam amazed of the beams in the roof and that they are sturdy enough with so little support! Can you, can I
March 9, 201014 yr Author I am amazed of the beams in the roof and that they are sturdy enough with so little support! The key is the 1x1x5 bricks, they stop a lot of the flexing between bricks, as I ran out and resorted to 1x1 bricks it starts to fall down on the edges a little. Or did I already say that somewhere else?
March 9, 201014 yr I like very much! Every single detail is beautiful ant the atmosphere ... LET'S PARTY!
March 9, 201014 yr Fantastic MOC! This looks very similar to the medieval parties in my books. You've really caught that spirit in this creation with all the wood and big grey stones. And who's that green person in the barrel supposed to be?
March 9, 201014 yr The windows and chairs is a very cool detail. Quick question, can i be invited to the feast?
March 9, 201014 yr Truely brilliant. I love the hall, the rafters are very nicely done and the fireplace looks real. I love the lighting effect in there. Very Harry Potter ish, but I love it. The stain glass window and shandeliere are also really cool touches.
March 9, 201014 yr Very Nice! I like how u did the stain glass window. Are those witches fighting at the top? Overall very nice!!!
March 9, 201014 yr Pure perfection is what I see! Well done ISC! This is truely an amazing work! There are so many individual details in this MOC and I just can't stop looking at it. The stained glass windows look very realistic, especially when the light passes through them. Impressive! Really beautiful work! Thanks for the great pictures!
March 10, 201014 yr Author Thanks Brickster for the Frontpaging and to all the nice comments as well. Cheers.
March 10, 201014 yr Really liking this MOC! Love all the small details, the chairs look neat, and so does the fireplace!
March 10, 201014 yr Looks like I'm a little late to the party... Always nice to see a peaceful castle scene done, well peaceful, ... a little drunken dwarf chair throwing (luckily they're wearing their helmets), and some innocent spell casting practice high above the dinner table. I really like these nicely detailed interior scene with lots of attention to detail: the doors, the big fireplace, the really colorful windows, and of course the very clever beams. Excellent MOC ISC.
