MOC: UCS Smash'n'Grab Rig

When I first saw the Space Police set Smash'n'Grab Rig, I found Squidman's space tow truck such a cool concept, I wanted to make my own space tow truck. So here's a "UCS" version of it.

The color scheme is great, although I don't think it needs the stickers. The big pillar piece to construct the hook arm is an excellent choice.

The vehicle looks very cool in dark red, and the greebles and stickers add a whole bunch to the MOC.

A great large-sclae version of the spacey tow truck! The rear part is very detailed with much greebling. Engines and crane are also fantastic.

Simple stunning! The dark red is just perfect, and the greebles aren't overdone at all. The stickers look really awesome, and you even made a stand! And what's more, even the stand is greebled! The greebles on the underside and Power Miners wheel are nice as well.

This model captures the look of the set perfectly, and has just the right amount of detail. Now all you need is a brick-built Squidtron to go with it.

My GOD. It's amazing!

This is my favorite space set, and it's turned seemlessly into a UCS! The only flaw is the dark red...then again, I can't blame you for that. I plan to send an angry letter to TLC about it's lack of purple!

Looks great. Unfortunately, don't have the actual set myself to compare it, as it's not released in Australia yet (to my knowledge). Honestly, I preferred the purple colour scheme, but red is good too.
